Customer Service

• Attend to all customers' enquiries / issues as follows: Contracts and agreements, Quotation/pricing negotiations, Coordination of new models and design issues, Prototype sample order fulfillment, Mass production order fulfillment, Schedule change management (including stock/disposal management), Delivery and quality issues, Customer complaints, Customer specifications/requirements & Customer payments and credibility

Marketing & Sales Plan / Forecast

• Analyse customer demand and provide sales forecasts to superiors.
• Collect and analyse customer and market information in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement short and long term plans to increase market share.
• Regularly visit and contact customers to enhance Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and gather the latest information.
• Coordinate with the business unit (BU) and/or factories for managing customer forecasts.

New Customer Development Activities

• Execute plans for developing new customers.
• Collaborate closely with BU and factory representatives on new customer development activities.
• Assist the Product Management & Marketing (PMM) group in implementing and executing plans for new customer development.

Other Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets as assigned by superiors.
• Manage overall stock planning and consignment/stock customers if assigned.
• Ensure prompt collection of payments from assigned customers.
• Execute any tasks assigned by superiors to achieve departmental and business targets.
• Participate in company committees, projects, or audits if assigned.
• Support customer/company workshops/programs.
• Assist with PMM or Business Development Department (BDD) activities as needed.
• Any ad-hoc assignments assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or trading roles.
• Proven B2B sales experience in handling electronics/semiconductor materials (e.g., adhesives, chemical products used in semiconductor front-back processes), is highly desirable.
• Highly self-motivated, independent, and resourceful individual.
• Strong team player with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel overseas frequently for customer visits and business meetings.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) is preferred for communication with Japan HQ, but not mandatory.

Job Description:

• Respond and generate quotation in response to existing customers
• Response to inquiries and provide solutions to customer needs
• Recommend customers for upgrades and maintenance contracts
• Attend surveys to determine more complex needs
• Design and proposal of basic to mid-level complexity solutions.
• Prepare necessary checks on stock availability and lead time of items before generating quotation
• Process signed quotations or purchase orders received from customers
• Work with procurement team on alternatives for required stock item that are not available

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least ITE, diploma or equivalent qualification
• 3 years of experience in security system would be an advantage. No prior sales experience is required if he/she has security technology knowledge
• Mature and meticulous individual with attention to details and a logical mindset
• Familiar with ERP / CRM system (i.e. Salesforce, NetSuite) and MS Office Applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• On the job training will be provided
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, high adaptability and positive attitude are expected
