1. Annual corporate cycle: Ensure it operates smoothly and in a timely manner for formal decision making and reporting, including ensuring that an annual members meeting (and other formal public meetings) are held in accordance with all requirements. In coordinating and/or contributing to the production of all appropriate reports, forward plans, self-certifications and submissions to relevant regulatory bodies and ensure that they are published, where appropriate, and available for public. 3. Policy: Ensure that all organizational policies conform to prescribed templates and that changes to policies are reflected on DPH’s Document Management System.
4. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Administer the risk management registers to be up to date and usable during contingencies in BCP. Work with respective risk owners to identify potential emerging internal and external risk trends, facilitating necessary follow-ups by the risk owners. Prepare dashboards and risk reports for regular presentation to Executive Team, Council, Executive Committee and the ARGC.

Administrative support to CEO and Council:

1. General Secretariat duties supporting the CEO: Inclusive but not limited to the meetings of the Executive Team (ET), Council, Executive Committee (Exco) and the Audit, Risk and Governance Committee (ARGC). Planning, preparation and timely submission of agendas, reports, supporting papers and minutes.
2. General Admin: Assist to coordinate induction and training of Exco and Council members as required. Requirements

• Should have 2 to 3 years' of experience in selling building products (which involves supply & installation) directly to the main contractor in Singapore or in other countries.
• Experience in co-ordinating with architects, main contractors and factory.
• Experience in taking site measurement
• Should have good spoken and written English skills
• Should have their own car with Singapore driving License or willing to driver motor bike / scooter provided by the Company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To attend customer enquiries and prepare quotations according to customers’ requirements
• To process sales orders and follow up with relevant departments for delivery schedule, technical clarification and documentation.
• To build and maintain client relationships through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
• To identify new business opportunities to achieve targets and profitability
• Payment collection from customers

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ level
• Preferably with Sale Experience
• Bilingual in written and spoken English and Mandarin to liase with mandarin speaking counterparts
• Computer literate
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to co-ordinate administrative & logistic functions
• Possess own car (transport allowance will be provided)

Salary will commensurate with qualification and relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and import a wide variety of fruits and vegetables from international markets to meet local demand.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with overseas suppliers, growers, and producers.
• Manage logistics and oversee the import process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of fresh produce to Singapore.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and seasonal availability to ensure competitive pricing for imported products.
• Work closely with Singapore Customs and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with import regulations, including food safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with local distributors, warehouses, and retail partners to ensure smooth product handling, storage, and distribution.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with international suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and product quality.
• Ensure all import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, is accurate and complies with Singaporean import laws.
• Troubleshoot any issues related to the quality, quantity, or delivery of products, working closely with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing waste and spoilage.
• Coordinate product inspections to ensure the quality and safety of imported fruits and vegetables.
• Stay updated with the latest food safety and regulatory requirements in Singapore (e.g., Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) standards).
• Develop and implement strategies for sourcing sustainably and ethically, in line with Singapore’s growing focus on sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Agriculture, or related field.
• Proven experience in fruits and vegetables importation, ideally within the food or grocery industry in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s import regulations, food safety standards, and logistics processes.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, AVA guidelines) and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• A strong passion for fresh produce and an understanding of Singapore’s food market trends.

Preferred Skills:

• Fluency in Mandarin to liaise with suppliers in key source countries.
• Experience working with both local retailers and foodservice distributors.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing in the food industry.
