Job Description:
As an Accountant at Novosys, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgetary processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
· Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to assess business performance and support decision-making.
· Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
· Support annual audits and coordinate audit activities with external auditors to ensure timely completion and accuracy of financial reporting.
· Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and mitigate financial risks.
· Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and promote operational efficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Sales, to streamline processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to accounting and finance to maintain compliance and enhance organizational performance.
· Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned by management to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
· Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
· Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
