What you'll do:

As a General Ledger Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support to the Corporate Accounting Team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accounting records, preparing monthly management reports, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Your expertise will be vital in managing the annual statutory audit process for multiple entities, ensuring timely completion of Annual Income Tax, and overseeing all other tax reporting activities. Additionally, you will handle receipt processing and payment management for several entities. Your ability to multitask, meet filing timelines, and manage confidential information professionally will be key to your success in this role.

• Ensure accounting records are kept in accordance with corporate policies.
• Prepare monthly management reports by collecting, analysing and summarising accounts information.
• Handle annual statutory audit for entities in Singapore and Philippines.
• Ensure Annual Income Tax for entities in Singapore and Philippines are completed timely.
• Ensure all other tax reporting are filed on time and consistent with tax provision.
• Process hotel/interco receipts and manage payments for entities in Singapore and Philippines.
• Carry out any other accounting related duties as assigned.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the General Ledger Accountant position holds a minimum degree in Accountancy or equivalent, coupled with at least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting. You possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Sun systems. Familiarity with Kyriba / Onestream would be advantageous. Your understanding of accounting standards is solid, enabling you to ensure compliance across all tasks. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation. You thrive in team environments but also have the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Your self-motivation and energy drive your success in this role.
