The Role

This new headcount was transferred from Corporate HQ to Singapore office. Reporting to AVP, Finance, you are responsible for maintaining the General Ledgers (GL) and reporting activities for selected entities.

• Manage corporate tax, GST reporting and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Preparing payment instructions for office expenses and settlement of import duties.
• Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit and issuance of financial statement.
• Assist to prepare required reports for data analysis to facilitate business decision-making.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a Accountancy preferably with professional certification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably with financial audit experience
• Regional experience highly preferred (China and India)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Office 365
• Knowledge of SAGE UBS or ERP system will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for overall tax compliance matters including corporate income tax, withholding tax, etc.

- Prepare/review the annual tax returns and ensure compliance to tax laws and regulations

- Prepare/review the monthly corporate tax provision and tax accounting reporting (ie. deferred tax computation)

- Conduct tax research and assist in identifying tax planning ideas and improvement opportunities

- Liaise with various competent authorities in respect of the tax related queries/issues & audits

- Advise and provide support as and when required on the tax compliance and implication

- Review and advise tax related contract clause including new project tendering, procurement contract and etc.

- Keep abreast on the latest development of new legislation and tax updates and advise for full compliance

- Other ad-hoc duties/tasks to be assigned as and when required.

Requirement

- 1-2 years of experience in taxation, customs and finance

- Professional experience in taxation with Audit / Tax firms preferred

- Tax Consultancy background preferred

- A graduate of Business or Accounting is desirable

Accounts Executive/Assistant Accountant (Accounts Receivables)

Our client is an established household brand in the food industry in Singapore. As a result of business growth, they are now seeking a high calibre Accounts Executive/Assistant Accountant (AR) to join them.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly reports and AR month-end closing.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
• Prepare and send invoices to customers.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions.
• Generate monthly reports and analyse AR aging.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Experience and Qualifications:

As Accountant (Collections) in the Finance Division, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance. Working with a small team, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Maintaining and performing billing and collections
• Responsible for timely collections and cash management
• Establish pro-active collection activities and internal control functions towards managing collections and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Identifying and evaluating credit risk and assess credit history of clients.
• Handle overdue payment (phone call, email, visit, negotiate, analyze and reporting) in accordance with the collection procedures.
• Improve collections and reduce outstanding aged AR balances by working closely with other teams.
• Responsible to highlight client balances due, monitor credit situation.
• Coordinating legal actions to manage overdue accounts accordingly.

Job Qualifications
