RESPONSIBILITIES

General Ledger

· Work on diverse softwares (Eduka, GP, Salesforce, Workday)

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or Diploma in Accounting and currently pursuing higher accounting qualifications, with at least 5 years’ experience in a related role.

• Prior working knowledge of ORACLE/Hyperion advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and compile reconciliations analysis for balance sheet items.
• Prepare reports for management, including variance analysis and budget vs. actuals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and corporate income tax filings.
• Oversee cash flow management and communicate with customers, suppliers, and banks to ensure timely transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and audits.

• Monitor and track costs across projects, operations, and logistics functions, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
• Conduct monthly cost analyses to compare actual expenses with budgeted amounts, identifying variances and trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting Support:

• Collaborate with various departments to assist in forecasting, helping to develop and maintain cost-effective budgets.
• Prepare accurate cost forecasts and contribute to the budgeting process, supporting effective financial planning.
  

Reporting:

• Prepare and deliver regular reports on costs, budgets, and variances to keep stakeholders informed and ensure transparency.
• Generate insightful reports on costs and expenditures to support proactive cost management.

Project Cost Management:

• Oversee project-specific cost tracking to ensure expenditures remain within budget and align with financial goals.
• Conduct spot checks on cargo and perform post-project cost reviews to evaluate profitability, addressing any overspending issues.
  

Invoicing and Activity Tracking:

• Generate and process invoices while maintaining accurate records of contracts, sales agreements, services, and activities in the cost tracker.
• Support accounts receivable (AR) tracking by updating records and ensuring timely invoicing.
  Organize and maintain all invoices for easy access and retrieval.
  

Customer Service and Issue Resolution:

• Address customer inquiries and disputes related to invoices, handling adjustments and clarifying any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and customer care teams to resolve invoicing issues promptly and improve customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sr Program manager in Singapore. In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving our strategic objectives by using analytics. Key Responsibilities:

• Be functional expert(Semicon Material, Interconnect, Mechanical, etc) to be able to provide training & coaching to related CSM on the specific categories’ should cost analysis.
  
• Work closely w/ related CSM using the McKinsey Cleansheet system to do the should cost model creation, related data gathering & validation, and should cost vs. current price gap analysis & the identify the continuous cost improvement opportunity.
  
• Work w/ related should cost champion to quarterly evaluate, validate should cost w/ the CSM. Report the should cost related KPI including saving opportunity, should cost coverage/adherence rate etc.
  
• Further enhance should cost related process and system efficiency and improve the data visualization through dashboard development.
  
• Continuously work w/ CSM & SMAI team to apply process enhancement & automation for the should cost related activities.
  
• Support Design for Cost efforts between Sourcing, Engineering and Business units;
  

Requirements

• Familiar w/ the product cost analysis including identifying the cost structure, investigate the cost element and continuously explore cost improvement opportunities.
  
• Deep knowledge on the related commodities including operation process, equipment running cost, technical specification and raw material consumption etc and could build the cost model independently.
  
• Strong project management skill and able to cooperate effectively with the related stakeholder and drive the business performance. PM certification is a plus.
  
• Able to do the cost related market intelligence analysis to facilitate the related data collection.
  
• Solid system development skill including the knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, ML/AI etc.
  
• Experience of the McKinsey Cleansheet system or similar cost analysis system is a must.
