Job Description:

· Responsible for the full range of costing matters of the Malaysia & Singapore manufacturing plants using SAP ECC6/S4Hana.

· Review the factories’ current month cost variance and work with the production department to resolve variance and costing issues before closing the month-end. Analysis using SAP ECC6 and/or Power BI Dashboards

· Develop, train, implement, lead and monitor manufactory costing models and policies and make recommendations to improve/stabilize procedures and policies

· Report and analyze operational variances, including production order variances, purchase price variances, manufacturing variances inclusive of inclusive of machine, labor, and overhead.

· Perform inventory and standard cost accounting and control, participate in annual budget exercises focusing on operations

· Assist and support in closing monthly accounts, timely submission of accurate financial reports, analysis, forecasts, financial statements, compliance with appropriate accounting standards, Transfer Pricing, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications Required:

The Role

The successful incumbent will work closely with the finance and operations team and will be responsible for cost reporting activities. Tasks include reviewing and allocation of costs, analyzing prior month adjustments, ensuring the accuracy, processing of invoices, performing monthly reconciliation, establishing new vendors, liaising with agents and reviewing of agent’s performance and compiling of reports, as well as analyzing the performance, etc

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should possess minimum qualification of a Degree in Finance and Accounting, are well versed in accounting concepts and bring along with you 2 years of accounting experience. • To conduct feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
