Job Summary

The Audit Director holds a senior management position with primary responsibility to provide an independent & objective assessment of the organization’s financial statements, internal controls & reporting processes to ensure good corporate governance. He / She reports to the Board of Directors and ensures that the internal audit goals & objectives are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• To develop, establish and implement internal control frameworks across DCS Card Centre and its subsidiaries to ensure the reliability and integrity of information.
• Ensure consistency in implementation of programs and provide independent assurances to the Board on the effectiveness of risk management and control processes.
• Conduct regular governance and control awareness training to build awareness and ensure compliance.
• Serve as an independent member of the risk management committee.
• Report significant risk exposures & control issues, including fraud risks, governance issues, and other matters needed or requested by the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate efforts with other controls & monitoring functions (risk management, compliance, security, legal, ethics, environment & external auditors etc.)
• Report audit outcomes to the Board, highlighting control deficiencies and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Work with respective units to conduct risk control self-assessments and collaborate with business units and support units on remedial actions.
• Oversee the preparation of an annual audit risk assessment.
• Ensure strong corporate governance practices are adhered to throughout DCS Card Centre and its subsidiaries.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in audit standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Participate and support ad-hoc projects or special investigations as required.

Job Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in governance and controls within financial institutions, preferably with ACCA qualification or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, or assurance roles within banking, finance, fintech or Payments industries.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and card scheme rules, particularly within the MAS regulatory framework.
• Strong track record in team leadership, development, and coaching in audit environments.
• Familiarity with data analytics, automation tools, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Payment Settlement Operations:

• Oversee and manage daily payment settlement and clearing transactions.
• Ensure all payment settlement documents are accurately filed, recorded, and sent to secure storage (e.g., CISCO) for safekeeping.
• Process refunds and resolve disputes arising from merchants promptly and effectively.

2. Billing and Account Receivables:

• Supervise the preparation of invoices and billing information for accounts receivable.
  Manage auto-billing processes, including GIRO, standing instructions, outgoing messages, confirmations, and payments.

3. Transaction Reporting:

• Update and maintain daily transactions in the control cash projection report.
• Ensure outstanding (live) and matured deals are filed and reported in their respective designated records.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly transaction fee billing reports.
• Compile and submit MAS S$ weekly transactions report (MAS 755) to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in a timely manner.

4. Account Management and Customer Support:

• Oversee the process of account opening and creation, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory guidelines.
• Support Internet Banking customers with account management queries and resolution.

5. Compliance and Efficiency:

• Implement and ensure compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and reporting requirements.
• Optimize processes to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership in finance operations, including remittance transaction processing.

6. Team Leadership and Reporting:

• Lead and mentor a team to ensure high performance and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workflows and meet business goals.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in payment settlement operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the banking or payment industry.
• Strong understanding of payment processing methods, including Diners, Visa, Mastercard, e-wallets, IPP, BNPL, and other payment ecosystems.
• Solid knowledge of financial operations, remittance transaction processing, and accounting entry.
• Experience in AML checks, compliance, and reporting processes.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and perform with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments.

Director of Engineering is overall in charge of maintenance operations of hotel facilities, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, emergency power system, and other related equipment in accordance with guest service, preventive maintenance and energy conservation standards and programs.

• Lead the Finance team in monthly and year-end financial reporting, statutory audits, and compliance
