Job Description:

• Lead team in tendering proposals in collaboration with corporate Departments to pitch for and secure new projects
• Overall responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of the project. Work closely with client’s representatives, consultants and other stakeholders to deliver all key project targets to highest standard with the project team
• Review and scrutinize the project start-up and execution plan with the site management team, as well as to define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, resources, EHS and contractual
• Prepare and manage budgetary plans, achieving required, or beyond target profit margin, able to Identify risks and provide appropriate mitigating strategies
• Formulate subcontract award strategies independently. Manage all submitted Additional Works and Variation Order (AW/ VO) during project’s life cycle to ensure proper documentation and accountability of variance
• Identify and drive the implementation of innovative construction methodologies and practices on site to improve productivity and achieve lean outcome

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Building/ Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or related
• 1. Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction field, with at least 7 years in a managerial capacity for building projects
• Strong all-rounded knowledge in construction management, cost engineering, planning capability and contractual matters
• Able to articulate and share vision, goals plans and strategies as well as values to influence team to achieve desired objectives

• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for the director.
• Manage the director's calendar to ensure efficient use of time and prioritize important tasks.

Communication

• Screen and manage phone calls, and other correspondence.

Travel Arrangements

• Liaising travel arrangements with admin department, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
• Prepare travel itineraries and ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.
• Organize and maintain receipts, records, and documentation for company claim.

Information Management

• Conduct research and gather information as requested by the director.

Confidentiality

• Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Event Planning

• Assist in planning and organizing personal events, conferences, or functions.

Liaison Role

• Act as a liaison between the director and other staff members, and external contacts.

Problem Solving

• Anticipate potential issues and proactively address them.
• Troubleshoot problems and find efficient solutions.

Personal Support

• Provide personal support to the director, which may include managing personal appointments or tasks.

Time Management

• Help the director manage their time effectively, ensuring they focus on high-priority tasks.

• Proficiency in using office software, email, and other relevant tools.

• Detect and analyse opportunities, targeting suitable organisations and target audiences to drive new business development that supports the overall company’s vision and sales strategy.
• Conduct needs analysis to identify pain points and determine possible solutions.
• Actively source for new leads either via cold calling or other means including networking and building relationships with prospects.
• Coordinate with the regional BDs or Client Solutions Managers in developing a solution based on the gathered requirement/s from a prospective client.

Who are we looking for?

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in any related field.
• Preferable with at least 10 years of working experience in cold calling and B2B sales management is required for this position.
• Proven hands-on experience on data mining, lead qualification and contact verification.
• Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to handle multiple initiatives under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of supporting market.
