Overview:

• Leverage existing contacts with M&E Consultants to gain project insights, influence specifications, and drive business growth in security systems, public address system and homeland projects.
• Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Address client concerns and resolve issues to maintain positive customer experiences across all markets.

Regional Market Expansion and New Business Development:

• Explore opportunities for market growth in new countries or sectors within the region.
• Focus on securing projects related to security systems, surveillance, access control, extra low voltage and homeland security.
• Collaborate with marketing to products and solutions, driving regional brand awareness.
• Evaluate potential partnerships and strategic alliances that could contribute to revenue growth in the security and homeland markets.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

Qualifications:

• Possess a degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or multi-country environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing, regionally dispersed teams.

Role

To lead the Financial and Controlling function in the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, accounting policies, investment proposal evaluations, tax & fiscal related and risk management matters in accordance with Group policies & guidelines and local business environment to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership to the senior leadership team, in driving business growth and strategic objectives
• Drive planning, budgeting and forecasting process to support the achievement of strategic targets
• Direct controlling and accounting to ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's business objectives and are conducted in line with statutory requirements
• Define financial goals and monitor their implementation and ensure that a red flag system is in place to report problems in a timely manner
• Ensure accurate, transparent, relevant and timely management reporting to division and executive board, including financial (CREST) and operational data
• Approve monthly IFRS financial statement and ensures fulfilment of any IFRS / statutory / legal requirements
• Provide commercial support, evaluates and approves investment and new business cases in compliance with the DPDHL policy
• Cashflow: Perform cashflow forecasting and drive improvement in working capital
• Compliance: Country Compliance Officer responsible for Risk management and compliance. Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place

Requirements

• More than 10 years involving senior level financial management role, including 5-7 years managerial experience in a large organisation.
• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Masters degree or MBA (preferable)
• Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent).
• Experience in Logistics, Commercial Finance and Big 4 audit are advantageous.
