Travels to new locations to observe other cruise lines’ operations to and to identify and develop operational plans. If there is no other cruise line operating in a new port location, works with ground handler, port agent and other entities in setting up entire operation from the ground up.

· Leads the local team and cooperates with HQ GPS, Global Security, Public Health, hotel teams to develop the customized and optimized check in/boarding process for the Asia market.

· Engages in a timely manner the GPS central team in Miami for any changes in regulations and process in the area assigned, ensuring the team in Miami participates and vets the design of any new procedures for GPS impacting the guest embarkation, debarkation and general GPS issues.

• Plan and develop projects proficiently incorporating an understanding of the project’s location, the Client’s brief and requirements and other consultants concerns.
• Give creative direction to the architectural team assigned to the project.
• Develop documentation of all aspects of the project’s architecture to HBA CAD standards.
• Assist on and work with all other departments of the general design studio as required.
• Liaise attend and record meetings within the company and attend as requested client / project / management meetings necessary to perform duties.
• Ownership of overall project budget and managing sign off on design verses budget.
• Advise and help Designers and colleagues when help is requested in design clarification, detailing or other.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate/Degree in Architecture
• Related abilities required: Be a team player, willing to take instructions from senior management and provide leadership values to your respective project teams. Be presentable for meetings with clients. Attend training classes and develop relevant knowledge skills.
• Proven track record and experience in conceiving and successfully implementing luxury residential and/or hospitality projects.
• A minimum of 15+ years experience in architectural design of luxury projects, with a focus and proven track record in conceiving and construction of private luxury residential villas.

Roles and Responsibilities

Proficient in managing high-profile architectural and interior projects with corporate and private clients

Working with the team across projects to deliver design and technical excellence that meet high-quality standards.

Plans, coordinates, and manages the project process, maintaining involvement throughout.

Liaises with Senior Associate/Director to ensure that innovative and thought-provoking projects are delivered consistently.

Leads project meetings and some client presentations, increasingly acting as the primary contact for client interaction and maintaining good relationships with clients to maximize opportunities for repeat business.

Role models and fosters a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practices shared.

Leads, guides and provides training to junior talent, providing timely feedback that contributes to their continuing creative, technical and professional development.

Initiates or participates in the studio or group activities, leads brainstorming sessions and manages conflicts effectively.

Leads project meetings and some client presentations, increasingly acting as the primary contact for client interaction and maintaining good relationships with clients to maximize opportunities for repeat business.

Engages with colleagues to support the development of new business, enhancing internal and external communication via functions, events, forums and publications.

Assists in the preparation of fee bids and undertakes fee proposals and fee negotiations for projects.

Demonstrates a sound understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and ensures project fees are maximized and project targets are achieved through sensible management of time and allocated resource.

Job Requirements

Bachelor/ Master’s degree qualified in a related design field or holding equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.

At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role with responsibilities that apply in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design.

Fluent in spoken and written English and Proficient in Vietnamese

Enthusiasm for architecture and design, commitment, reliability and team spirit

Proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline - Revit is essential.

A talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking.

Experience in successfully delivering large-scale projects through all work stages, within APAC regions.

Strong organizational and supervisory skills; you have a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work proactively as part of a committed team.

Ability to lead, develop and maintain a respectful and trusting relationship.

Ability to relate and work well with people at all levels within the team and within the wider office, as well as externally with clients

A strong passion for architecture, interior architecture, and interior design.

Proactive, but tactful, in ensuring others within the team meet deadlines (etc)

Able to travel as required.
