Associate Director, Regional Marketing

Position Overview:

This role will play a critical role in supporting the AP markets in executing launch planning efforts, competitive readiness activities, and the commercial implementation of the global brand strategy for our pneumococcal portfolio, across in-line and Pipeline products viz VAXNEUVANCE, CAPVAXIVE, and RSV. The primary focus will be on driving the launch acceleration and excellence of PCV vaccines across the AP countries and ensuring state-of-the-art launch execution in each key market with a particular focus on the awareness of healthcare providers and consumers.

• Required: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS).

• Direct Sales team to manage account base to maximise performance across all revenue streams (Corporate, Leisure & Groups)

The Role:

The Director, Evidence & Policy is a leadership role within the APLMA Secretariat, responsible for guiding Secretariat’s work to raise the visibility of the malaria elimination effort in Asia Pacific through strategic, evidence-based policy documentation efforts. The Director will ensure the organization's policy positions are well-informed, insightful, and impactful; and will lead projects and teams working on analysis and document generation. The role will provide oversight to a team working to develop briefs, white papers, case studies, peer -reviewed documentation, Op Eds, and other policy and advocacy materials. The Director will also draw upon important work being done to generate evidence new in the region by a range of institutions and partners working to generate new insights on malaria in the Asia Pacific Region that can leveraged for advocacy.

• Oversee the development and execution of the Secretariat’s evidence, insights, and policy efforts which include the development of key policy related outputs such as policy briefs, case studies, blogs, white papers, and peer-reviewed policy papers, and other reports

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, as well as with industry partners and stakeholders

• Lead the design team in the development and execution of all interior design projects

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control

• Work closely with Project Leads to understand client needs and requirements

• Oversee the Tender & RFP process, including proposal preparation, pricing strategy, and project team selection

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

• At least 15 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in a multinational design firm (Commercial, Workplace)

• Proven track record in bringing in new projects/clients

• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software and BIM

• A keen eye for design and a passion for creativity

About the role

The Media Activation team is responsible for providing thoughtful and exciting recommendations for Search, Social, Display, and Video, owning supplier relationships, and then executing those recommendations expertly. The Media Activation team leverages their mastery of each channel to make sure its recommendations are consistently excellent and innovative, and that in-channel performance and data integrity is maximized.

Reporting into the VP, Activation, APAC, this role acts as our client's (Google SMB) senior partner and expert for paid media. This role is responsible for delivering best in class media campaigns to meet our client’s KPIs. Success in this role involves providing strategic insight across a breadth of client stakeholders and platforms, owning best practice and optimization strategies within the product vertical, and leading a team of 20+ highly driven and skilled activation specialists (including ultimate responsibility for quality of work within this team).

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

• Lead in Media Activation business development, support client onboarding and in the creation, roll out, and adherence of best practices across channels
• Serve as point of escalation for Media Activation across client account B2B teams
• Identify new platforms, partners & integrations, evaluate these (and existing platforms) over time and maintain a POV here
• Develop strong relationships with your client, and key suppliers, leading team communications with these stakeholders. Be able to communicate with clients on subjects outside your remit, and provide them with useful insight, working independently
• Develop thought leadership pieces & case studies throughout the course of the year to demonstrate role within wider industry as a Media expert
• Deliver quarterly, semi-annual, or annual updates on work quality as it relates to owned workstreams
• Gain a strategic understanding of the client’s business and KPIs, and how campaign optimizations meet those KPIs
• Support the Client Director, Planning Director & Media Activation Practice Lead in capacity planning & resource management for the team
• Lead through vision, values, and model leadership behaviors while championing and facilitating change in a positive manner
• Thoughtfully craft career development plans for your reports and contribute to the development of training materials for the department
• Manage a team of 2-5 direct reports, a larger team of up to 20

SCOPE

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of all sales and marketing aspects of the property. The incumbent will maximize sales and revenue through development and implementation of strategic action plans, forecast and strategies in order to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue and to materialise the budgeted revenues.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Supervise preparations and definition of the Sales & Marketing Plan and manual for the department and participate in setting up the sales & marketing policies, procedures and objectives.
• Determine the corporate/travel trade marketing and sales strategy related to pricing and promoting to meet the objectives outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
• Clearly understand and communicate the Corporate and Regional Strategic Sales Objectives to the Sales & Marketing team.
• Maintain and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems involved with group business.
• Keep close follow up on developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.). Also explore and compare corporate traffic amongst the competition.
• Propose ideas for promotional materials to be distributed during sales calls, international trade shows and for other promotional activities.
• Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or a relevant field of work preferred.
• Min five (05) years relevant experience.
