What a Risk Director does at Visa:

Reporting to the Head of Risk, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand (SMT), this role will be entrusted with a broad portfolio of responsibilities including Strategic Risk Management, Ecosystem Risk (Fraud & Data Security) and Corporate Risk across Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Grow and manage the firm's sustainability assurance and GHG verification practice globally.
• Oversee the ongoing development and implementation of assurance and verification methodology and processes in accordance with required standards.
• Manage assurance and verification engagements, including planning, execution and delivery.
• Ensure that engagements are completed on time, and in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
• Deliver assurance and GHG verification training courses offered by the firm.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in sustainability reporting, assurance and verification standards and ethics guidelines.
• Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity and ethics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of direct experience in sustainability reporting assurance, and/or GHG verification services.
• A thorough understanding of the principles, requirements, and guidelines set forth in the AA1000 Assurance Standard, ISAE 3000 (Revised) Standard is required. An AA1000 assurance practitioner certification will be an advantage.
• Strong auditing and assurance skills, including experience in the design and implementation of audit programs, audit planning, and report writing. Experience in identifying and assessing risk and in evaluating and testing internal controls is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in sustainability report assurance and GHG verification.
• Strong understanding of sustainability reporting standards and guidelines, including GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, CDP and GHG Protocol.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and energy, and resourcefulness.
• Trustworthy, self-starter, and independent.
• High proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and advanced data management.

What the day will look like

Broker Support

• Co-ordinate the technical requirements/needs of the clients and reinsurers and deliver Aon projects to reflect these.
• Build and maintain regular contact with clients and reinsurers in a proactive manner to mitigate potential risks/problems or develop opportunities.
• Initiate/review/prepare reinsurance submissions/underwriting narrative/debriefs using proprietary technical knowledge.
• Provide technical support to service reinsurance placements: assisting brokers with new business opportunities, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
• Update reinsurance placement activity on broker systems – processing data accurately and promptly.
• Preparing and checking contracts / endorsements / invoices.
• Work with internal departments to ensure prompt billing and timely issuance of documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to manage credit control for outstanding payments.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance.
• Communication and collaboration with clients and reinsurers: building relationships.
• Work on operational projects to improve service standards.
• Monitor revenue and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout the Asia Pacific and Global Facultative network to achieve objectives
• Assist in management of broker support team where necessary

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline.
• 8+ relevant re/insurance experience preferably with exposure to Facultative Reinsurance.
• Proficient with various computer systems, including (but not limited to) MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal effectively and confidently.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to make/communicate difficult decisions.
• Ability to organize a wide range of tasks from various sources and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

The Business Development Assistant Director (BDAD) is responsible for generating sales, increasing revenue and profitability for the company. The BDAD must be adept at professional networking and building strong relationships, acquiring and maintaining new clients. The BDAD must be able to develop creative solutions to meet clients’ needs and potential challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish, develop, and maintain client relationships.
• Conduct prospecting activities to generate leads through effective in-person, phone, email, social media, and other outreach methods.
• Generate leads via professional relationships and other interactions that support business development/sales efforts.
• Actively build and maintain a robust, accurate sales pipeline of leads/opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with our clients’ hiring managers by understanding their business and staffing needs.
• Generate viable, quality contracts, contract to hire and direct hire orders.
• Possess a solutions-oriented mindset to define the best solution to deliver the expected outcome for the client and the business.
• Manage open job orders from intake to fulfilment.
• Guide the hiring process to meet the needs of the client while ensuring that roles are filled timely.
