Requirements:

Science Laboratory, Art Assistant:

• GCE ‘O’ Level qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a primary school.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Scope of works:

Science Laboratory cum Art Assistant

• Manage operational and maintenance tasks in Science Labs and Art Rooms.
• Operate simple life science equipment.
• Prepare and set up equipment for experiments.
• Prepare materials for art lessons.
• Maintain and update data records, including stocktaking.
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing and typing.

Job Description:

• Conduct music and movement, piano and/or musical theatre lessons for preschoolers in a group setting
• Conduct classes at preschools and clubs around Singapore
• Conduct holiday camps
• Make lessons fun and inculcate a love for music in the students
• Assist in the planning of syllabus and preparing of lesson materials

Pre-requisites:

• Certified in music, early childhood or musical theatre
• Ability to work well with babies, toddlers and young children
• Good with classroom management
• Warm, bubbly, energetic and confident personality
• Responsible and proactive
• Have a passion for nurturing children
• Growth mindset - be constantly learning and looking to improve, and willing to accept feedback.
• Available on weekday afternoons (classes are usually held between 4-630pm)
• Commit for at least a year
• Currently hiring for external classes at Yishun, Punggol, Bukit Panjang and more.

Creative Hearts is looking for an inspiring and committed full time music teacher with a passion for education to join our team. Part time roles available too.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to children aged 2 to 12 years old. Our programmes include early childhood music and movement, piano, singing, violin, ukulele and musical theatre. You must be able to teach at least one of the programmes and be willing to teach other programmes after training
• Create lesson plans and materials for classes
• Conduct holiday camps for kids
• Prepare students for concerts and exams
• Make lessons fun and engaging for our students
• Update parents on students' progress
• Teach in our centres at Pandan Valley, River Valley and at external venues such as preschools around Singapore
• Help with admin where necessary

Requirements

• Enjoy working with young children and a heart for helping them grow through music and the performing arts
• Able to engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals
• Have a growth mindset, be a team player, and be able to commit and grow with our school
• Diploma or degree in music, musical theatre or drama
• Able to work on Saturday or Sunday
