What the role is

The Carbon Mitigation Division (CMD) administers the Energy Conservation Act and the Carbon Pricing Act to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from the industry and household sectors. CMD promotes greenhouse gas mitigation in the industry sector through the Resource Efficiency Grant for Energy. What you will be working on

Working in the Climate Mitigation Division, you will be part of a project team tasked to conduct the technical assessment of the eligibility of energy efficient equipment to be whitelisted under the Energy Efficiency Grant. The work includes

• Evaluating technical papers, suppliers test reports and literature to establish robust whitelisting technical criteria
• Analysing energy consumption data, efficiency ratings, and other relevant metrics to assess the potential energy savings and environmental benefits of whitelisted equipment
