-Accurate processing of various transactions adherence to banking regulations, policies, and service level agreements to maintain operational excellence:

• Manage timely and accurate processing of transactions not offshored to Shared Service Centre
• Manage exceptions in transactions and report irregularities to Management promptly.
• Ensure preparation and submission of internal, Head Office and regulatory reports to relevant parties is done within allocated deadlines.
• Initiate process improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation and management of productivity matrixes and capacity model.

-Provide subject matter expertise towards projects initiatives.

-Assist and support corporate clients, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience:

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Loan Operations and reporting

Responsibilities

• Perform AML monitoring/review on Trade post-transaction files.
• Review/investigate Trade manual screening alerts and red flag escalated by trade processing team for potential sanction violations in accordance with SMBC policies.
• Ensure that review and investigation conclusions are adequately and properly documented for regulatory/audit level review.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the required management information reporting data as applicable
• Perform daily name screening alert clearance
• Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions, system failure, etc and resolve issues including handling stakeholder’s complaints and escalating all issues to Group Head / Deputy Group Head promptly.
• Other tasks as assigned by Group Head / Team Lead

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Able to link diverse information to build a full picture and spot inconsistencies
• Possesses knowledge of MAS regulation on AML and Sanctions requirements including KYC, Screening
• Strong team player
• Good communications skills, hands on, independent and proactive in carrying out investigation on customers and/or transactions. Able to work with front office and back office

• Work closely with the project manager and administer the design control system and programming to meet budget and timeline expectations of the project.
• Responsible of modifying controls, designs, and other documents in accordance with processes and standards and in line with industry standards as per the customer's URS.
• Assist and participate in internal the purchase, FAT and SAT, test and debug, controls and validation operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in control systems design.
• Knowledgeable in Allen Bradley and Siemens-S7 programming
