The Singapore Canoe Federation (SCF) was founded in 1971 and is the National Sports Association responsible for the management, coordination, development and promotion of paddling in Singapore. It represents the interest of its athletes and members to Sport Singapore (Previously known as the Singapore Sports Council), the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), the public and other International paddling bodies.

The SCF is an affiliate of both the Asian Canoe Confederation and the International Canoe Federation. As a non-profit organisation, the SCF relies mainly on its volunteers and its small group of staff. It is mainly funded through Sport Singapore.

Role description:

The Operations Executive (OE) supports the Operations Manager (OM) in driving revenue, improving profitability, and managing operations across all SCF outlets, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The role will cover these key areas of the organisation:

1. Customer Engagement and Revenue Development

1.1. Assist the OM in meeting interested stakeholders for course and programme opportunities.

1.2. Develop and execute programmes to engage customers and maximise SCF revenues.

2. Operations Management

2.1. Set up and oversee operations centres, ensuring seamless functionality and customer satisfaction.

2.2. Assist in administering paddling activities and ensuring smooth, safe operations.

2.3. Manage reservoir and boat storage areas in coordination with users and agencies.

2.4. Update SOPs, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.

2.5. Monitor and enforce safety protocols.

2.6. Oversee public boat rental operations and ensure customer satisfaction.

2.7. Ensure timely fee collection and facility maintenance at operation centres.

2.8. Conduct regular inventory checks of fixed assets.

2.9. Handle vessel permit applications and renewals.

2.10. Coordinate with vendors and provide event support for SCF activities.

2.11. Collaborate with other departments to align operational requirements.

3. Course and Programme Management

3.1. Maintain online systems for course registration and payments.

3.2. Process SCF course and coaching certificates.

3.3. Manage the certification database and stakeholder systems.

3.4. Propose and implement a CRM system to improve stakeholder management.

4. Other Responsibilities

4.1. Take on additional tasks as assigned by the OM or General Manager (GM).

5. Qualifications/Technical Requirements/Experience:

5.1. Diploma/Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

5.2. Experience in operations or event management is advantageous.

5.3. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

5.4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

5.5. Proficient in IT skills.

5.6. Prior experience in the sports industry is a plus, in particular, paddling sports.

6. Other requirements:

6.1. Ability to work on weekends and extended working hours.

6.2. Possession of Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence (PPCDL) will be an added advantage.

JOB PURPOSE:

The role holder is responsible for assisting the Manager in the day-to-day financial operations in the campus.

Functional:

• Supports the Manager in the day-to-day financial operations, transactions and collections in the campus
• Collects the tuition fees for the campus and updates the system
• Monitors all billing and credit collection, and maintains a daily collections report
• Supports the preparation of cash flow estimates and forecasts for the campus, and assists in the managing the campus’ financial assets and liabilities
• Assists in the preparation and verification of all financial transactions in the campus
• Reviews the accuracy of vendor invoices and staff and student claims in the campus, ensuring that policies are complied with and expenses are charge to the correct cost center
• Works closely with the Academics and Admissions team to review scholarship applications and undertakes the necessary processes for the respective scholarships (e.g. scholarships may be awarded partially or in full, or at end of the year and requires upfront payment, etc.)
• For merit-based scholarship, ensures the scholarship is administered together with the tuition fees invoice
• For income-based scholarships, collect relevant financial documents from the parents for review and means-testing, and ensures the scholarship amount allocated is accurate.

• Monday – Friday: 9.00 am to 5.30pm (1 hr lunch break)
• Saturday: 9.00am to 1pm

• Oversee and manage selected outlet’s chief chefs and kitchen staffs
• Recruiting of new staffs for outlets
• Ensure proper SOPs and HACCP standards are carried out
• Maintains food quality and safety standards
• Ensure proper maintenance of the kitchen within each outlet
• Ensure that all activities conform to HACCP & AVA guidelines
• Creation of new dishes at appropriate time

Role & Responsibilities:

To move between different clinics as needed, offering support where there are staffing gaps or increased demand.

Ensure a comfortable experience for patients who attend at our GP clinics

Provide customer service including registration of patients, queue management, dispensing of medications, invoicing and collection of payment

Support doctors for inclinic procedures and chaperones

Perform clinical procedures such as simple dressing, ECG and nebuliser treatments
