Job Summary
Credit Trading –Securitised Products Trading (SPT) is focused on activities in the Global Structured Finance / Asset Backed Securities markets. The SPT desk is an established industry participant in trading, investing and financing Global ABS products across asset classes and capital structures. The team located in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai creates further synergies across our client network, providing customised securitised solutions for clients (investors and issuers), by leveraging on the credit solutions and origination product base.

Responsibilities
· Help execute Securitised Products Trading specific strategies and ensure that performance objectives and revenue goals are met and RWA targets managed
· Increase SCB's visibility by driving commercial, competitive pricing of securitised products for our clients
· To work with DCM/Sales/RMs to identify new prospects and client opportunities
· Provide sales desks with competitive pricing and product support in our endeavour to out serve
· To explore new products and structures to increase the breadth and depth of the market
· Collaborate and develop internal relationships by showing axes and giving market colour to sales teams and pricing guidance to DCM and Syndicate on new primary deals
· Effective risk management of securitised products exposures
· Providing proactive, comprehensive and timely credit analysis to TRM/Specialised Finance Risk, credit sales and clients
· Spotting opportunities and providing forecasts and challenging views on markets, assets classes and issuers
· Responsibility for providing daily prices of fixed and floating rate securities across multiple currencies
· Preparing written market commentaries, giving details of market developments, new issue pricing levels, relevant rating agency publications etc.
· Be part of a transparent and collaborative culture in which incentives are based on support of Client Income with specific performance metrics on the Bank's values.
· To work in partnership with CIB relationship managers and Global Credit Trading teams across APAC, EMEA and Americas to ensure that the SPT product is value additive for clients and the bank
Our Ideal Candidate
- 8 years of experience in financial services
- Experience originating, analysing and structuring underlying pools of collateral into securitized products
- Strong client network
- Knowledge of fixed income specifically credit
- Prior sell side or buy side experience
· Advanced experience in pricing of securitised products across variety of asset classes and parts of the capital structure
· Advanced experience originating, analysing and structuring underlying pools of collateral into securitised products
· Strong network of client base in origination and distribution for incremental business value add
· Advanced experience of Excel to model granular ABS/RMBS underlying pools with securitisation tranches overlayed to perform IRR and stress testing analysis.
· Experienced at setting up SPVs, structuring and legal documentation expertise
· Extensive exposure and knowledge of Fixed Income specifically Credit but also Rates and FX markets
· Prior sell side or buy side experience analysing, arranging, trading, structuring securitised products
· Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
· Comprehensive credit analysis using Intex/Moody’s Analytics/Bloomberg analysis and proactive monitoring of securitised exposures, identifying industry/regulatory trends and relative value between sectors, RWA optimisation using Sec SA
· Advanced experience in analysing securitisation documents
· Advanced understanding of credit and securitisation risks
· Thorough understanding and assessment of credit risk across frontier, emerging and developed markets
· In depth and expert knowledge of CRR, Basel, FRTB and other regulatory issues affecting securitisation markets
· In depth knowledge of ESG and Impact investment analysis in Securitisation markets
