RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the development and execution of Strategic and Integrated Communications to strengthen visibility, awareness and understanding of MINDS, and to spread the narrative of inclusion, empowerment and advocacy for PWIDs.

Corporate Communications:

• Generate ideas to elevate the brand while providing assistance to entities to ensure compliance of branding guidelines
• Facilitate and/or review external partners' requests for collaboration and publicity materials with mention of MINDS.
• Produce corporate publications including but not limited to corporate brochures, annual reports, newsletters and videos and ensure any necessary information is circulated to MINDS staff in a timely manner.

Events & Initiatives

• Develop and execute public education initiatives to raise public awareness of MINDS mission and service offerings, house brand products, through events, presentations, tours, exhibitions etc.
• Identify event and content partnership opportunities.
• Obtain stories from MINDS entities.

Media Management

• Manage publicity for corporate events, including writing press releases, updating media materials and on-site media management
• Manage media queries and requests, including drafting media statements and responses
• Cultivate good relationships with the media and influencers to build goodwill.

Social Media and Influence

• Initiate and expand MINDS social media influence and engagement, through new channels, content creation, etc.
• Ensure MINDS' social media platforms are maintained and maximised for engagement and storytelling, through development of social media content calendar, etc
• Manage social media analysis and measurement of outreach success/outcomes.

Website Management

• Manage website content on WordPress, ensuring information relayed to the public is updated and accurate. Tasks including but not limited to creation of new pages, update existing pages/content, copy editing.

• Degree in Mass Communications/ Marketing/ Digital Marketing/ or relevant subjects

• At least 2 years of work experience in communications, marketing, content creation; with good grasp of written, editorial and oral communications
• Good grasp of written, editorial and oral communications
• An eye for photography and graphic design
• Added advantage for those with knowledge / skill /experience in graphic design, video editing, media relations, corporate branding, digital marketing, WordPress, SEO

Duties

• To perform day to day accounting and administration functions to ensure proper internal controls, compliance to local government/ company policies & requirements, implementing efficient finance and accounting procedures for the country. In addition, this role is required to provide accurate status reports to organization management.
• Performs daily accounting (AR, AP, cargo, payroll, reconciliation, budgeting) and administration (statutory reporting, treasury/cash forecasting, facility management) functions in country
• Coordinate/oversee processing of internal and external customer requests and inquires
• Monitor production performance to identify problem areas and adherence to schedules; takes corrective action where necessary to minimize losses or enhance profitability/efficiency
• Performs monthly closing within required deadline.

Required

• Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• Two years in Retail/Hospitality or related experience required

• Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan, Checklist, Procedures and review of construction drawings.
• Material receiving inspection of pipes, fittings, gaskets, valves, flanges, Steel Structure, bolts & nuts in compliance to material list, mill certificates, test reports and correct ,material specification.
• Control of quality for piping and steel stucture fabrication such as fit-up, welding, visual and dimensional inspection conforming to approved for construction drawings.
• Responsible for issuance of Non-Conformance Reports if any violation and out of standard for piping works.
• Conducts quality coordination meeting and initiate corrective and preventive action.
• Inspection of piping spools, steel structure fabrication, installation and testing.
• Preparation of all inspection reports and clearance of dossier at close up.

Requirements

Must possess bachelor degree

Must possess CSWIP 3.1/AWS

Must have Marine shipyard experience

• Assessment and management of risks on the business and processes.
• Monitor compliance with group procedures, local policies, and relevant laws/regulation.
• Conduct internal control reviews for stores, back office, events and on ad-hoc topics.
• Conduct monthly reviews and analysis on sensitive and high-risk transactions.
• Follow up on audit/internal control recommendations to ensure resolution of relevant risks and findings.
• Conduct testing and complete internal control self-assessment checklists.
• Participates in stock takes and ensure controls on inventory management are well respected.
• Partner with relevant departments and stakeholders to implement, change, or improve processes.
• Conduct trainings/briefings and provide support to stores and office teams on controls and compliance matters.
• Works closely with regional team on internal control initiatives.
