This position manages and executes a wide range of financial planning and analytical processes supporting the Southeast Asia region which includes Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore affiliates.

This role directly manages a team of five direct reports and their staff across the five affiliates and the regional headquarters in Singapore.

Key processes include:

• Prepare monthly sales and P&L forecasts with the regional leadership to understand major trends in the business.
• Review and approve deal profitability analysis to ensure new deals meet financial objectives.
• Analyze and make recommendations for Balance Sheet and related Cash Flow for the region. This includes thorough understanding of causal variances along with detailed analysis of Service Equipment, Inventory and Receivables.
• Ensure the integrity and validity of financial databases (SAP, TM1, HFM, SEAS, etc).
• Implement and monitor the internal control process within Southeast Asia, including proper reporting of distributor in-market sales and inventory days on hand.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and projects.

Position Accountability / Scope:

The role is a hands-on commercial finance role, providing multiple country support across Southeast Asia, interacting with all countries and the Asia Pacific Area finance team. The role has a dotted-line reporting responsibility to the Managing Director of the Southeast Asia region.

Minimum Education:

• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• MBA/CPA preferred but not required.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

• 10+ Years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong experience and understanding of the forecasting mechanics of Sales, P&L, and Balance Sheet items.

Brand Finance Controller (Luxury Retail)

The Job

• Handle loan documentations related to Hire Purchase, Credit Loans and other loan products
• Regulate the form and contents of hire‑purchase agreements and the rights in accordance to Hire Purchase Act
• Process loan applications and verify data entry to ensure proper documents submission are correct and in place
• In charge of data entry and document filing
• Responsible for all the data record accuracy in the Enterprise Resources Planner (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Liaising with vendors, suppliers & partners for issues pertaining to discrepancies, short payment or collection arrangements
• Assist with sales admin processes
• Engage close interactions, coordinating with inter-department and external customers to ensure smooth day to day operations

Job Requirements

• Minimum qualification Diploma with 2 years experience in Hire Purchase in vehicle, Credit Loan or other loan products
• Strong in English, able to write, type and speak fluently
• Similar experience in the automotive industry and credit/loan experience is an advantage
• Fast in response and able to work in a fast-paced environment

This position reports to Financial Controller with one direct report in the costing Section.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with the Food & Beverage Department on operational, inventory and cost related issues
• Set up the cost control system and cost category for each outlets.
• Evaluate the recipe submitted by F&B and prepare standard recipe costs, this also involves pre-costing all items in the Food & beverage menus. The determination of selling price is to be approved by the General Manager or House Subcommittee.
• Set up SOPs, check Store and Receiving to ensure the control policies and procedures are
• Complied with and to ensure the effectiveness of the control system.
• Supervise stocktaking process in stores, kitchens and bars.
• Ensure proper record keeping of inventories, track and audit all inventory processes.
• Investigate and trace any inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate preparation of all documents associated with the movement of all food and beverage to/from the outlets.
• Responsible for accurate preparation of daily food and beverage cost reports.
• Preparation of all costing reports, ensure costs are allocated correctly to each outlet.
• Monitors food and beverage performance through analysis of F&B food covers, revenue and cost reports.
• Analyse variances between potential and actual costs and prepare potential cost and sales report for each outlet.
• Verify daily outlet void control sheets, control daily complimentary, FOC and business recovery
• transactions.
• Perform weekly audits on selected Bars, Kitchens and Store to control inventory variances and
• make recommendations for any weaknesses identified during the audits.
• Performs any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar capacity

Education:

• Min Diploma in Accountancy/Management Accounting/Costing

We are looking for a Financial Risk Management team member with strengths in credit and market risks to complement our team. As part of your responsibilities, you will be:

• Maintaining the risk policies, framework, calibrating limits and performing associated work related to credit, market and other risks to ensure that we operate within our risk appetite.
• Perform reviews on and independent validation of our internal credit rating process which is largely in fixed income as part of regulatory expectation.
• Provide risk management advice on proposed investment strategy, initiatives and waivers of limits and determine the implications on our risk profile.
• Generating and monitoring market and credit risks summary report regularly.
• Contribute meaningfully to asset liability management.
• Participate in other projects across teams and departments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantitative Finance/Financial Engineering/Financial Mathematics/Actuarial/Statistics or CFA equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in insurance sector or credit rating model will be advantageous
• Knowledge of programming in VBA, and in Python or SQL is a plus
• Experience in using Bloomberg or Factset system is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical matters in a clear and concise manner
• Good teamwork with excellent internal and external relationships

Job Description:

• In conjunction with models and scorecards, and the bank’s credit risk management frameworks, build and maintain models for onboarding, assessment, ongoing monitoring and reporting of exposures for the Bank. This also includes the usage of AI/ML and incorporating of alternative data into such models.
• Manage the model risks for all scorecards, segmentation, loss forecasting and IRB models including validation, monitoring, managing through limitations and compliance to the Model Risk Management Framework
• Collaborate across functions, enable embedded financing, implement credit models in the various lending platforms / ecosystems that the Bank will engage itself in.
• Conduct both regular and ad-hoc portfolio data analysis on post lending accounts to identify the associated credit risks and problems and make appropriate recommendations on risk mitigation.
• Monitor the performance of the bank’s loan portfolios to ensure they comply with regulations and bank-wide credit risk strategies, policies and manuals.
• Solicit and analyse market related information on the practice or trend of retail and corporate risk management, and make recommendations to Senior Management for procedural reviews.
• Review and validate credit decision process and credit modelling, and identify areas for improvements. Drive automation initiatives and be relentless about reducing manual work-arounds
• Work closely with business, product teams, data scientists (where appropriate), to drive key initiatives to achieve business needs that are within risk appetite.
• Oversee regular tracking on MIS and key performance metrics of all scoring models, loss forecasting models and risk segmentation models.
• Key contributions also towards ICAAP, IWST, Regulatory Reporting, ECL modelling and regular fine-tuning of the same.

Job Qualification:

• Degree or above with major in Mathematics, Statistic or Financial Engineering etc.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experiences from credit risk analytics and/or modelling in banking. SEA market know-how will be a plus
• Hands-on experience in the end-to-end development/validation of credit risk models
• Sound knowledge of Basel, IFRS9, MAS requirements in relation to models
• Good understanding of credit products in wholesale / SME segment
• Good stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Proficient in SAS, SQL and other analytical tools (R, SPSS, Python)
• CFA or FRM certification will be a plus
• Self-initiated, excellent analytical skills and be able to handle multiple-tasks under tight schedules
• Articulate; Good command of written and spoken English.
