Responsibilities:
- Business Controlling and preparation of multi-year budget, monthly budget, quarterly forecast including analyses on variances against monthly actuals and in-depth analysis on financial risks & opportunities.
- Bid Controlling which includes analysis and mitigation of risks relating to bids, review of cost estimates, cash flow analysis, hedging requirement, taxation issues, consolidation of multi-entity bids and attending bid meeting to ensure bid processes are approved before submission of bids.
- Project Controlling, which includes attending project reviews, EAC/ETC reviews, provide hedging requirement for projects, ensuring healthy cash flow status of projects and consolidation of financial status of multi-entity projects for review.
- Perform monthly P&L closing activities by validating SAP closing data for project revenue, cost of sales, contract variances, G&A expenses and overheads.
- Validate project cash flow forecast for monthly reporting and preparation of Business Operating review.
- Support business transformation initiatives and other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree preferably in Accountancy/ Finance, CPA/CA would be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project accounting position with budgeting and analytical responsibilities
- Knowledge / experience with SAP will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, cost accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
- Ability to interpret and evaluate complex financial information through critical thinking
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Access) is mandatory
- Strong Business Understanding and with experience in complex multi-unit industrial projects would be advantageous
- Professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
