Key Responsibilities

· Lead the financial planning and analysis process to align with Scent Senses’ strategic goals.

· Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies, particularly in emerging markets.

· Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and working capital effectively.

· Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

· Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

· Partner with leadership to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

· Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

· Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

· Proven experience (10+ years) in accounting and managing finance in emerging markets.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices, with a focus on regulatory compliance in emerging markets.

· Keen knowledge of corporate taxation and GST regulations in Singapore.

· In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments.

· Experience managing business ratios to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.

· Proficiency in financial software and systems. In depth knowledge and working experience of Odoo 16 is essential. Familiarity with the software’s accounting module is highly preferred.

· Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Quality Controller/GAP Coordinator

Job Description

The Quality Control/GAP Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all products received perishable and nonperishable are of standard as per the company’s specifications. This role must also ensure supply security and FIFO practices.

Scope: Singapore (Choa Chu Kang farm)

Working Days: 5.5

Reporting into: Head of Farm Operations

In This Role You Will (Responsibility):

· Ensure incoming and outgoing goods (perishable and non-perishable) meet company and GAP standards.

· Daily inspection of production areas to ensure compliance with company and GAP standards.

· Analyse quality data and summarise findings.

· Generate inspection reports.

· Conduct quality assurance reports.

· Conduct internal self-audits of processes and procedures.

· Prepare quality assurance documents in compliance with local regulations and GAP standards.

· Ensure quality testing (shelf-life samples) and laboratory microbial testing is done in accordance with GAP standards.

· Ensure staff training is done to comply with GAP and Food Safety requirements.

Assist operation in problem solving and execute improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with key users and equipment discipline engineers to continue SAP MDG data cleansing post production.
• Work with Asset Management discipline engineers and team lead for timely NMS updates.
• Coordinates with change managers and project (T&P) team for site MOCs to drive compliance and generate reporting for stewardship.

Required experience & skills:

• Minimum 5 years professional experience as Document Controller.
• Possesses knowledge of and working experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
• Able to handle large data and able to perform data analytics.
• Good communication skills and internal stakeholder management.
• A team player and able to work independently.
• Strong work ethic with positive attitude.
• Willing to work for 6 months contract.

The Area Controller serves as a Business Partner of the Global Services Division Management Team to control the business in the SEA countries, and support Principal Hub in Singapore, in particular the management of sales, gross margins, inventories, foreign currency and credit risks. The Area Controller will also assist Regional Controller Middle East and Asia (MEA) in any financing business partnering activities for the MEA region.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Review monthly actual results, and co-ordinate with the Finance Shared Services team to ensure accurate recognition of revenue/cost in the book.
• Review the vendors’ invoices in Basware to ensure coding & cost centre charge in order
• Coordination of the forecasting process of all business sales volumes, gross margins, logistic costs and inventories for the Principal company, SEA & Australia (based on quotation pipeline and orderbook) in close cooperation with the Principal Controller, Supply Chain Controller and Region Controller
• Performing detailed analysis with findings & comments for monthly financial & business metrics of assigned countries against targets and historical performance trends..
• Assist to ensure internal control in place, corporate governance & compliance to Group policy and local regulation.
• Management of the intercompany cost recharging model, providing instructions to Finance Shared Services Team and local controllers and control of quarterly intercompany reconciliations in cooperation with Corporate Tax
• Forecasting and analysing of the financial and business metrics of any adjacent GSD SaaS and EaaS businesses and reporting insights to the business teams
• Support the Region Controller and Regional Management Team with finance business partner activities for APAC/ME areas as and when assigned.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education

● University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Experience

● More than two years experience in a controller or FP&A role in an international B2B environment, preferably in after-sales and/or logistics

● Experience with ERP, reporting and business intelligence tools (SAP, Qlik, Hyperion or Google BigQuery are an advantage)

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role to deliver critical financial insights to Senior Management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full spectrum of general accounting and record of financial transactions
• Ensure timely delivery of financial and management reporting of group consolidation, cash flow, budget and forecast.
• Oversee the preparation of key financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee the full controllership ensuring accordance with FRS and financial policies. Oversee yearly financial audits to ensure all local tax filings are completed correctly.
• Responsible for financial and statutory reporting to ensure timely monthly closing and compliance to corporate governance and local regulations
• Partner and coordinate closely with global Finance counterparts to prepare cash projections, financial and operational reports for insights to senior management
• Set up and maintain internal controls and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, with Chartered Accountant Certification
• At least 7 to 10 years of finance experience, with prior experience in consolidation of accounts and knowledge of local tax regulations
• Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, and able to interact with stakeholders across different levels.
• Dynamic and adaptable to work in a newly setup environment
• Ability to work independently with regional and global counterparts
