Metta Hospice Care (慈光安宁居家护理中心) is a key service provided by the Metta Welfare Association. As a member of the Singapore Hospice Council and the Asia Pacific Hospice Network, Metta Hospice Care provides free home hospice services to terminally ill patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager (Home Care), you will provide patient-centered and compassionate care tailored to the needs and conditions of home care patients, while adhering to organizational standards, legal requirements, and stakeholder expectations. The Animal Care Officer (ACO) is responsible for the treatment, care, and overall well-being of animals. The ACO plays an important role in ensuring the welfare of animals within the shelter and executing prescribed treatment and enrichment plans to support the well-being and potential adoption of the animals under their care.

The ACO works largely in a semi-outdoor environment and is required to be physically fit. On occasion, he/she may be required to support Animal Rescue Officers in housing difficult rescue cases.
