Looking for Student Care Teacher (Holland Village)

Accessible from Holland Village MRT.

Job Responsibilities:

- Picking up students from the building's lobby and leading them to the centre

- Ensuring students' safety at all times

- Guiding students in their school work (P1 - P6)

- Planning extra activities for students to be engaged in during their free time

- Organising events during the school holidays

- Building rapport and relationships with the parents and updating them on their child's progress

Job Requirements:

- Min. O levels with 1-2 years of experience in student care

- Familiar with primary school syllabus and able to guide the students in their English / Chinese / Math and Science homework

- Able to give test the students in their english and chinese spelling (听写）

- Able to commit to the following working hours

School Term - 10am - 7pm

School Holidays - 7am - 7pm (Rotating shifts)

• Working Hours-Monday to Friday 1030am to 7pm

• Salary : $2,200 - $3,400

Responsibilities:

• Implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre.
• Guide primary school children (primary 1 to 5) to ensure completion of daily homework.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.
• Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
• Conduct unique enrichment programmes.
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre.
• Ensure safety of children within the premises.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Director.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in any discipline with minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students.
