This job role will be based within the rapidly expanding Artifact Lifecycle team, which forms a key pillar of the overall RISC organization. Artifact Lifecycle has a mission to protect the health of associates, customers and supply chain partners by creating innovative solutions to obtain product Artifacts (documents, data sheets, lab reports, product images etc), for Compliance Evaluation, Classification, Storage decisions across the catalogue. Artifact Lifecycle owns the end-to-end strategy to ensure we provide the best possible service for Selling Partners that want to sell safe and compliant products.
The Sr. Risk Manager will be responsible for coordinating and building out business requirements for new, disruptive tech functionalities for external Selling Partners with the overall aim of helping worldwide Selling Partners to become and remain compliant in an efficient and scalable way. The candidate will work closely with Tech, Product, Legal, Selling Partner Experience (SPX), Storage, Supply chain and Business teams to build out internal technical capabilities that are required to scale processes and tech solutions into new marketplaces across the globe, they will also assist supporting the on-going operations of the Artifact Lifecycle program, reporting on various KPI metrics. Finally, the candidate will be an active contributor to broader RISC strategy and roadmap discussions, with the opportunity to partake in key workflows with Snr Management.
Key job responsibilities
- Work on an initiative to collect the requirements / use cases for automation of artifact review processes (artifacts are documents, images used to make to determine if a product is safe / compliant for sale)
- Work with our compliance operations teams, and compliance program owners to understand how we determine what artifact processes exist manually today (e.g. what information is extracted, what information is used to decide if it valid or not)
- Collate these use cases into requirements and share them with tech
- Develop internal metrics to determine the effort / cost of existing operations work, and opportunity to automate.
- Develop scalable mechanisms to report regular updates on projects within your ownership to key stakeholders, to ensure alignment is maintained across various WW teams
- Clear, precise, and regular communication with key stakeholders, including leadership, on ongoing project/program updates
Basic qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience managing medium to high complexity cross-functional programs, including multiple groups of stakeholders and in an international environment.
- Experience working with Product teams to implement scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
- Extremely comfortable with ambiguity and comfortable on taking the lead to problem solve
- Ability to design processes that start with the customer and work backward.
- Experience with root cause analysis and process design.
- Strong delivery record.
Preferred qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
