• Provide advisory support relating to existing products to ensure product compliance review process is managed appropriately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Advise business units on relevant regulatory requirements, addressing needs in new initiatives and projects.
• Provide guidance to the business on changes to regulatory requirements where required.
• Review internal policies and guidelines relating to Compliance’s review of materials and campaigns.
• Conduct periodic assessment of the review process to identify areas of improvements
• Support any risk assessments, auditing, and monitoring activities in accordance with the compliance program. Assess risks and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability in the area of product review process.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are advantageous.
• Minimum 3 – 4 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience in the financial services industry (preferably insurance), strong knowledge of insurance-related policies e.g. LIA, FAA, FAS etc.
• Experience reviewing marketing materials for regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
• Possess a collaborative team player mindset with ability to work autonomously with time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
