Mission of the Department: The Finance department in WWF Singapore is to provide donors, stakeholders, and business partners with sound financial and internal control and governance in alignment with the Singapore Charities Act, Financial Reporting Standards, and WWF policies. We focus on efficient operating systems and processes, information, analysis, and business insights needed for informed decisions, and strong financial resources to support WWF’s priority conservation activities in Singapore and the rest of the global network.

Major Functions: Deliver timely and accurate financial information and business performance insights for the operations of fundraising and conservation activities of WWF Singapore. Provide strategic financial planning, oversight of project expenditures and revenue, and cash management to maximise the efficient and effective use of funds. Drive accountability, control and compliance, and risk awareness by a high-performing team of talented finance professionals based on trust and mutual support.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Manage finance operations with two direct reports, supervising and mentoring staff to ensure productivity, professionalism, and performance.
• Drive the standardization of operational processes within the Finance Department.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Ensure timely monthly financial close, including the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Ensure reporting compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines, staying updated on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.
• Oversee the timely and accurate completion of all financial audits and tax filings, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance to deliver on the compliance agenda.

Business Partnering and Strategic Support

• Support the annual budget preparation and monthly reforecast exercises.
• Partner with fundraising teams on performance reviews, reforecasts, and budgeting.
• Provide guidance for the department's digital transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and procure-to-pay processes.

Internal Controls and Governance

• Strengthen internal controls and governance practices, including handling internal audits and implementing recommended improvements.
• Collaborate on governance initiatives to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Tax, Treasury, and Financial Matters

• Manage tax compliance, cash flow, treasury operations, and other related financial responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
• Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles, fund accounting, and grant management a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Designated Person Ashore.

· Supervise and monitor all safety, quality and operational performance. The monitoring, visit, inspection, supervision and support to the vessels to correspond with the objectives and policies of the Company.

· Ensuring that the vessel is reporting timely in the electronic document safety module promptly and maintenance of the system. The responsible Superintendents carried out the required reviewed as necessary in the system.

· Ensuring that the electronic document system workflow stages are being attended and updated by the superintendents.

· Responsible for the HSEMS procedures and the continual updating of same.

· Provide support in evaluation and specification of navigational and communication equipment support the development of strategy for navigation procedures within HSEMS procedures.

· Monitor all vessels operational performance in co-operation with Commercial operation departments.

· Supervisor all loss prevention, experience feedback and reporting of causalities in co-operation with the QHSE Department.

· COC Class I or Degree holder with at least 5-year marine safety, operational experience (for fleet dry vessels) and additional vetting experience (for fleet tank vessels).

The VIP Manager will fulfill a strategic and operational role in establishing and maintaining the membership community. Their duties will encompass developing and executing the membership strategy and programming activities aligning with organizational objectives to enrich the club experience, overseeing membership databases, and supervising the property's reactive and proactive membership sales efforts. The VIP Manager will serve as the guardian of the club, ensuring the club’s management and preservation of its brand standards. They will jointly shoulder the responsibility for achieving revenue targets and ensuring guest and associate satisfaction. The VIP Manager will partner with Director Culture & Entertainment and Marketing teams to execute all aspects of the Marketing experience.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED; 6 years’ experience in the related professional area.

OR
· 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years’ experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.

Preferred:
· Familiarity with the entertainment industry and demonstrated ability to make connections with high-profile clientele

· Proven experience in membership management or a similar role within an exclusive/private club or luxury environment.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

· Proficiency in membership management software and tools.
