Job Purpose

You will be supporting the Claim Team (Shield, Life, Critical Illness, Disability, Personal Accident, General Insurance) to resolve policyholders’ and distribution representatives’ issues relating to claim matters and effectively promote good customer service experience.

The Job

• Ensure claim enquiries and requests received through emails are responded within the expected turnaround time
• Where required, ensure calls to policyholders and distribution representatives relating to claim decisions are promptly rendered
• Assist in call out to distribution representatives and/ or policyholders, to provide basis of decision, for concluded claims. To be able to hold and manage the conversations well, to engage and explain the basis of claim decisions
• Assess and manage appeals, feedbacks and general complaints received from emails. Escalate higher level complaints to Managers and his/ her immediate supervisors
• Resolve any escalated cases assigned by Unit Head
• Recommend new methods to improve operational effectiveness and customer experience
• Guide junior staff members
• Other projects or ad-hoc assignments/ tasks delegated by the Unit Head
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlight any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices

Our Requirements

• Degree holder, candidates with Professional Certification in Insurance (i.e. M9, M5, CHI, BCP, PGI) will be an added advantage
• 1 year of relevant working experience in complaint handling will be advantageous
• Experience in insurance industry with claim knowledge would be advantageous (with at least 1

About the role

The Regional Manager- Financial Controller will own and evolve a Financial Control Framework that ensures our accounting records are complete, accurate and our disclosures comply with local and international reporting standards . • Establish plans for supply risks mitigation, eg. identify floor stocks, Safety stocks, VMI / Kanban , long lead time mitigation plans
• Benchmarks and drives cost reduction plans and actions with assigned suppliers
• Derives plans and methods for optimizing the costs associated with a products value chain

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business or Engineering. MBA preferred
• Prefer a candidate that has experience across several operational disciplines such as Commodity Management or Procurement. Candidate will possess extensive experience in a minimum of two skills in the following areas: procurement, commodity management, strategic sourcing, supplier development, planning, program management, master scheduling and factory engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, commodity management or NPI related function & 10 years operations experience preferred
• Strong understanding of contract manufacturing environment and management of global commodity strategies through a third party provider
• Proven record of managing and driving Continuous Process Improvement activities. Strong analytical skills, ability to identify root cause for action/resolution
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.
• Good knowledge of aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation, planning, master scheduling and program management
• Work independently in fast paced environment
• Contract management, negotiation and implementation experience
• Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers and upper management with clarity
• Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; SAP and Team Center preferred,
• Intermediate: Word processing/typing, presentation/PowerPoint/Power BI

Job Purpose

You will be part of the Regional Agency/FA and Bancassurance team to actively develop new client acquisition to support our affluent and HNW business growth, specifically on regional wealth.

The Job

· Identify and introduce high-value, high net worth clients to GE, leveraging professional networks and relationships to drive referrals and expand GE client base. Primary market focus to be China, India and ASEAN.

· Work closely with agency partners to provide and deliver a total wealth management experience to new- to-company clients.

· Proactive management, supervision and monitoring of new clients onboarded.

· Facilitate and support customers’ purchase journey via licensed financial representatives within assigned agency team.

· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

· Ensure that transactions are compliant with governing laws and ethical standards, and comply to all applicable policies and procedures

· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
