The Contract Manager (CM) is pivotal in ensuring the project’s success, particularly in budget/cost management, packaging, payments, contract management, and reporting to senior management. He/she collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and of exceptional quality.

Responsibilities:

• Able to work independently on Contracts and Quantity Surveying works
• Work with project managers on cost management
• Administer project budget and cash flow in line with the master schedule
• Maintain effective documentation control.
• Ensure compliance with country’s regulatory requirements and standards
• Work with the Consultant Quantity Surveyor to prepare/reviewtender documents
• Prepare packages for vendors and subcontractors
• Manage variation works including costs and progress payments.
• Submit weekly updates and monthly reports
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Possess a degree in engineering or other relevant qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project execution in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or highly complex projects.
• European countries’ working experience in Contract Management and Quantity Surveying with solid understanding of European statutory requirements and standards.
• Effective communication skills at all levels
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, CAD software (remeasurement)
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills on cost assessment and claims
• Evaluate cost-benefits and value engineering proposition.
