The Customer Service Specialist helps our customers in the early adoption phase, reducing and removing adoption pains. Your success is culminated in a complete phase-out of manual features to the fully digital offering.

Job Description:

You will undergo on-the-job training to familiarise with our product and be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and success of our customers by providing exceptional support and service. A shipping operation experience will be advantageous but not a prerequisite.

As a primary point of contact for our Japanese customers’ operations, you will work closely with them to understand their adoption pains, and to ease them in recurring usage as soon as possible.

You will play these Key Functions:

• Manage customer accounts, including onboarding new customers, providing ongoing support to ensure customers smooth adoption & recurring usage
• Coordinate between the customer and vendor, conduct daily operations and deliver a customer-centric experience across all channels including phone calls and emails
• Actively engage in refining customer experience through regular customer feedbacks from conducting of daily operations
• Identify & report gaps, challenges, variations and differentiations between manual operations and digital applications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their success and satisfaction with our products and services
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Provide timely and effective resolution to customer issues and inquiries, escalating issues as necessary

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Must-Have Business Japanese proficiency - essential to liaise with Japanese customers
• Minimum 5 years experience working with business Japanese and a good Bachelor's Degree in Jap Language
• Excellent communication & persuasion skills with a customer-centric orientation
• Self-motivated, patient, and a fast learner with tremendously positive attitude
• Adaptive, flexible, and a flair to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to think comprehensively and solve problems
• Experience in maritime operations and possess a flair for technology application is preferred

Mon - Thurs 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Fri 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Sat 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

This role has to promptly & professionally attend to the customers when they walk into our service centres. He/She coordinates the front line operation, booking of appointment and provide general administrative support (Handle first level of complaints, assisting Service Advisor's & Call agents ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the centre and any adhoc tasks assigned by the customer service Manager).

Job Scope

• Attend to the needs of the customer’s professionally and quickly such that the customer’s waiting time is kept to the minimum.

• To assist in completion of payment transaction according to agreed terms before releasing vehicle.

• Provide assistance and support to Service Advisor's/Call agents/Customer Service Executive

• Walkabout in service centres and observe cues from customers

• Speak to customers waiting at the service lounge and perform upselling whenever possible

• Assist with inbound/outbound calls and making appointment booking for customers to visit the service centre.

• Do a follow-up call on no-show booking customers to fix another appointment booking date.

• Assist to answer all telephone calls within 3 rings in a courteous and pleasant tone and voice with appropriate greeting, salutation where appropriate, announcement of company name and personal name.

• Transfer the calls in a professional manner where the other party is being informed of the transfer and the extension that they are being transferred to.

• Record messages accurately from customers and follow-up with SAs to ensure that messages/ calls are replied.

• Assist in the daily operation of the reception.

• Assist with collation of intake reports.

• Assist Customer Service Executive in handling 1st level of complaint cases

• Assist with cashiering and document submission to finance and respective managers

• Handle non-booking walk in customers tactfully to uphold customer service level standards at all times.

• Any adhoc tasks assigned by customer service Manager

Knowledge & Skills

• Preferably Diploma Holders who specialized in Customer Service

• Minimum 3 years working experience in relevant customer service industry.

• Proactive and independent with positive attitude.

• Customer Oriented with good attitude and good team player

• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with internal stakeholders and customers

• Problem solving skills

Processing bill of ladings, commercial invoice, packing list and other shipping related documents. Declare tradenet permits, liaising with customers, shipping companies, local vendors and overseas counterparty. Manage entire end to end shipment arrangement.

Provide customer service support to sales department.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work together with teams across the organization, including sales, marketing, product development, and support, to ensure a unified and positive customer experience

Requirement :

-1-2 year experience in customer support role

- Possess good HR payroll , leave system , CPF & OT claims concept

- Good communication skills and able to handle difficult customers

- Training will be provided
