The Technical Project Manager will oversee and manage technical projects related to the enhancement, replacement, and installation of innovative entertainment systems across the Resort. The Brand Experience is a core function of the Brand and Community organization, with a sharp focus on elevating an inspired understanding of the brand and product stories that underpin and uniquely define lululemon across multiple platforms. Comprised of the core functions of Creative, PR, Social Media, Community, and Retail Brand Experience, Brand and Community is redefining digital and physical brand experiences by providing strategic design for the online-to-offline journeys that serve our guests and drive sales.

The Retail Brand Experience (RBE) team are the curators of our in-store brand and product experiences. The RBE team is a core function of the Brand organization, with a sharp focus on storytelling, visual merchandising, and overall store experience. This team brings to life global /regional/ local marketing moments, impacting the retail channel performance while elevating guest experience and brand recognition.

A day in the life:

RBE Manager, SEA markets will be responsible for planning and executing the retail product presentation and storytelling experience across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia to deliver consistent in-store / omni guest experience. This role will manage strategies for visual merchandising, instore marketing, campaigns, and new store openings, by partnering cross functionally with key audiences such as Merchandising, Retail Operations, Brand, Store Development, and Ecomm. Also providing information and presentations to senior leaders regarding local RBE strategies, progress, and results.

Visual Merchandising & Styling

• Drive & localize RBE strategies including visual merchandising, styling, and storytelling based on global / regional strategies.
• Manage pre-season, in-season, and post-season visual merchandising deliverables and strategies for merchandising and planning, brand, and retail stores.
• Work closely with regional RBE, local Brand & community, and store teams to ensure delivery into a global vision.
• Create the detailed merch map with product and storytelling execution by working closely with regional RBE team, product team & store development team for new store openings and optimizations.
• Manage store capacity list for SEA markets
• Localize product presentation guidance & training to store VM leads on VM shifts.
• Work with regional RBE team & store development team to design & align locally relevant and regionally consistent guest journey at retail.

Instore Marketing

• Lead & manage local execution of all retail marketing (e.g. Window, signage, lightbox, poster, brand screens) including global, regional, and local campaigns and initiatives, in partnership with Brand, with regional guidance & support
• Support community & brand message instore presentation & communication by working closely with Brand team and retail teams
• Oversee and drive the process of localization art elements implementation in the store in partnership with regional RBE, Brand and Creative team
• Manage local VM Calendar for campaign execution & local / regional brand moments at retail.
• Support all guests related events at retail or pop up to elevate overall brand experience
• Track & record local VM expenses

Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of experience in visual merchandising, or retail brand marketing
• Undergraduate Degree in Brand Marketing, Communication or Visual Merchandising preferred
• Solid experience working in retail, especially apparel / fashion industry
• Experience working cross functionally to deliver outputs
• Experience working with vendors and creative agencies, manage budget & deadlines
• Strong Graphic skills in Adobe Suite (AI & PS)

Risk Management

• Our team is responsible for delivering quality product and service design, meant to enable colleagues and clients to perform their work efficiently and effectively. In doing so, we must be careful with data management and play our part in ensuring we protect it and that our designs take this into consideration. Risk management is interwoven in our design activities and you will need to ensure that risk is always a consideration throughout your design process all the way to delivery.

Governance

• Our team contributes the Design Community of Practice and the Bank’s central design system, we inform design governance decisions in the Bank. As part of our responsibility, we must oversee and contribute to areas such as career progression, mentorship, tooling, support, and more. It will be your responsibility to support and participate in these activities when and if the opportunities arise. Our focus is on advocating for design and engineering best practices and excellence.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience driving projects from initiation to delivery, defining the business value gained with the program and utilising this with stakeholders for buy-in.
• 5+ years of experience in producing UX and UI design, including interactive prototypes using Figma
• Experience working at financial institutions, including fintechs, would be desirable
• Education equivalent to a BS in library/information science, human/computer interaction, web development, computer science, graphic arts/digital design, psychology, business, or other equivalent discipline.
• You have an understanding of human centred design methodologies and usability testing
• Working knowledge of enterprise project methodology, and capable of working with IT to manage business and technical requirements for documentation
• You also understand global diversity and the ability to advise on solutions that suit all.
• You have the ability and desire to keep challenging yourself and others with entrepreneurial attitude and passion for observing human behaviour, identifying team biases and surfacing these with grit.
• You work smart, are flexible and skilled in establishing practical processes.
• Familiarity with Information architecture and interaction design
• Experience in Agile and/or LEAN projects
• Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Expert level capability in Figma
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• You love to take ownership, see your projects through to launch and keep an eye on them afterwards, always on the lookout for improvement.

• Strong influencing and communication skills – oral, written and presentation
• Strong understanding of visual elements, including the application of brand standards(Layout, Type, Fonts…)
• Knowledge of corporate banking concepts
• Ability to collaborate with engineers to help and guide them in translating design to code
• Ability to translate UI design into interactive prototypes
