As our Manager (Recreation Programmes), you will report to Chief Executive / Deputy Chief Executive. This position involves overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of recreational programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our members and Public Service Officers promoting health, wellness, and lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

• To lead the department in organising a diverse of social programmes, events and activities to enhance the overall enjoyment and advantage of owning our Club membership and to increase the membership signup rate.
• Oversee the planning, promotion, execution, coordination and engagement of a wide diverse range of social programmes to interests the members to sign up for the events and activities.
• To develop and organise social events and activities that attract all demographic.
• To ensure the compliance to our Club rules and regulations and attain the KPIs for all social events and activities.
• Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase the awareness and participation rate for all recreational programmes.
• Develop strong relationship with new and existing events/programmes partners, instructors, sponsors, and participants.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of all social programmes and through participation feedback, attendance, survey, financial analysis and optimise the resources and manpower.
• Continuously focus on improving members satisfaction of all social programmes to create member’s loyalty and deliver a positive event experience, from their sign up to the actual day.
• To forecast the event calendar for all social recreational programmes, and manage the Club's events microsite.
• Work closely with other departments and clubhouses to foster collaboration and synergy, ensuring smoother workflows and better outcomes for initiatives and projects.
• Prepare annual budgeting, quarterly and monthly reports for Management and Executive Committee.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive.

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Events/Hospitality and with managerial role of at least 5 years of relevant working experience in an event organizing

• OEM - vendors for hardware replacement ( DELL / HP )
• Shop floor specific software basic trouble shooting.
• Manage vendor site visit for Hardware issues.
• Hardware provision for customer end users
• Help users with email activation, first time login in laptops and configure profile.
• OS Installation / Software installation for Desktop / Laptops
• Shop floor visits in case of P1 issues during shifts and on-call rotation during weekends

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplies, and anticipate, plan and estimate adequate quantity requirements to cater to changes in consumption quantities during peak and off-peak days.
• Unpack, prepare, distribute and display food and beverage, prepare buffet display and arrangements.
• Check that the food and beverage are adequate and replenished
• Preparation of food items e.g. blanching and preparation of noodles, preparing wraps & sandwiches etc.
• Ensure backend workstations are kept neat, uncluttered and clean at all times, and that safety standards are not compromised.
• Food Service Attendant must also ensure that kitchen equipment, for example, ovens, steamers, fridges used are kept clean at all times
• Assist passengers with food and beverage at the buffet

Requirements

• Have basic food and beverage handling knowledge and experience, especially on areas of food hygiene. Having experience in hotel and hospitality industries or in SHATEC
• Able-bodied and capable of carrying moderate weight.
• Pleasant disposition, well-groomed, neat and professional in appearance, well-mannered and energetic.
• Able to converse well in English. Proficiency in one or more of the local languages such as Malay, Tamil and Mandarin or key foreign language such as Japanese, French or German will be an advantage, must be fluent in English and with neutral accent.
