Duties and responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and effective customer support via various communication channels (phone, email, chat) to assist customers with product inquiries, technical issues, and general questions
• Demonstrate a keen ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and efficiently. Stay updated on product knowledge and troubleshoot technical problems to offer accurate solutions to customers
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with other teams to ensure comprehensive problem resolution for customers
• Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service. Ensure customers are satisfied with the resolution provided and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction ratings
• Maintain detailed and accurate data/records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions. Contribute to the creation and improvement of support documentation and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, product development, and sales, to provide a seamless customer experience and contribute valuable insights from customer interactions
• Adapt to a rotating schedule, which may include evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or other related fields
• Ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of customer service or technical support experience
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written)
• Being able to understand and empathize with customers' concerns or problems is crucial
• Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and provide effective solutions
• Effective time management skills are necessary to handle multiple customer inquiries efficiently and meet response time targets.

Plus Qualifications

• Experience/exposure with AGVs, AMRs, and robotic systems
• Basic understanding of containers and Docker
• Familiarity with Linux platform, its configuration and Unix shell scripting

JOB SCOPE

He/she also carries out general repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment by diagnosing and troubleshooting special service problems following all building codes, blueprints, instructions, and manuals.

The air conditioning technician’ role also involves estimating material and labor cost and determining plan and requirements for installing, fabricating, and start-up; testing, and servicing HVAC equipment.

He/she is also responsible for training and assisting less experienced co-workers, and carrying out other duties that may be assigned.

The technician’s work description may also entail driving organization or personal vehicle to various work locations.

It also involves being on-call after work hours to take on further assignments should there be emergency.

Air conditioning technicians work independently under the supervision of the facilities supervisor applying power tools, hand tools, and different testing, and precision-measuring instruments.

They are expected to complete work orders as assigned and scheduled according to established industry and company standard practices and procedures, and to prepare reports on their work activities to management.

Assignments given to air conditioning technicians may be in the form of diagrams, sketches, written instructions, or work orders; the technician may have to locate the defective parts of the equipment or find out the cause of the problem to be able to fix it effectively

• Possess high school/vocational school diploma or G.E.D or technical training in Mechanical or electrical or HVAC systems With min morethan 5 years experience
• Working experience maintaining and repairing heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and other related systems such as electrical systems, DX units, heat pumps, and chillers
• Possess certification in refrigerant transition and recovery
• Possess county air conditioning mechanic license or its equivalent
• Possess valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching, crouching, push/pull objects, etc.
