You will be part of our client’s Support & Services Field Service team responsible for preparation, testing, installation and commissioning of radar systems and preparation of technical documentation within the Defence and Security market.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hardware and system installation, commissioning and testing.

• To provide troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities.

• To prepare maintenance and installation documentations.

• To provide technical support to customers, by email, phone and on site.

• To generate service reports according to activities.

• To assist engineers as second engineer in installation, service, commissioning support worldwide.

• To undertake other ad-hoc duties when required.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Good knowledge on IT and communications systems.

• It is an advantage if you have experience in field support, installation, repair & maintenance of electronics and communications equipment, for example within radar or surveillance systems in aviation or marine related industry etc.

• ITE certificate or higher

• Basic mechanical skills is required

• Should be able to work at heights and be able to pass a Work-At-Height Course, which our client will provide for.

• Good command of written and spoken English and 1 local language.

• Willing to work long and irregular hours, including weekends when required.

• Required frequent regional travel for field assignments, approximately 50% of the year.

• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
