* Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.

* Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and to carry out warranty repairs.

* Participate in service and repair of personnel protection equipments, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.

* Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.

* Liaison with relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistic pertaining to queries, technical issues, status and deliveries.

* Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level of efficiency.

* To provide support to other service activities that may be assigned in the course of work

* Effective communication of technical information to employees, customers and external parties in an accurate and concise manner in both a written and verbal media.

* To participate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/ activities as per requested by the company.

Job Description

• Position Title: Service Technician/ Field Service Engineer
• Working Location: Islandwide (Office at Tuas)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri: 9.00am – 6.00pm, Sat 9.00am – 1.00pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $4000 + OT + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support including the installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning of compressor and dryer units.
• Conduct troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of air compressors and refrigeration dryers, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to service calls and perform routine servicing at customer sites.
• Assist in overseeing the production process to ensure minimal breakdowns.
• Prepare and submit detailed repair and maintenance quotations for service and spare parts sales.
• Efficiently plan and coordinate individual service jobs on a weekly and daily basis.
• Conduct technical training to customers as necessary.
• Other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned.

• To receive all inquiries, take note of the caller’s particulars such as name, position, Company, telephone and facsimile numbers, and other relevant details for subsequent follow-up by sales staff.
• To assist in preparing proposals based on verbal or written information provided by the Sales and Marketing staff.
• To prepare invoices, monthly reports for consolidated billing.
• To maintain and upkeep the filing system and software on all aspects of waste information.
• To assist Customer Service Manager to ensure smooth daily operational in the team.
• To assist Customer Service Manager and Director – Sales in matters relating to customer care (feedback and complaints), collate market intelligence and marketing communications.
