Purpose of the position

As a Service Engineer with expertise in steel work, you will be responsible for supervising the structural steel repairs, including welding, fabrication, and modifications on Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) vessels and hatch covers on container vessels and bulk carriers. Main tasks and responsibilities

• Steel Work Supervision: Supervise structural steel repairs, including welding, fabrication, and modifications on RoRo vessels, container vessels, and bulk carriers, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
• Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, corrective actions, and upgrades on MacGregor equipment, including RoRo ramps, doors, and hatches.
• Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of steel structures and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Project Management: Lead and manage subcontractors during larger steel repair projects, ensuring the work is completed on time and within budget.

Education:
