Minimum Qualifications:

Marine Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair marine engines, steering systems, and other components
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure shipboard systems are working correctly
• Provide detailed reports to customers and maintain accurate records
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with team members and assist in training junior technicians

Job Requirements:

• • Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in marine mechanics or related field preferred.
• • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine service and repair.
• • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and marine service equipment.
• • Knowledge of marine engines, aux engines and cargo pumps.
• • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
