Responsibilties

• Perform servicing of chillers & other HVAC equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance for chillers and related equipment
• Have basic knowledge of overhaul & start up jobs on chillers
• Liaising with customers to resolve complaints cases
• Coordination with vendors and contractors in job coordination
• Assist or involve in schedule planning & prepare technical analysis reports for management’s review
• Ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards
• Any other duties as deemed necessary from times to times

Requirements:

• NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in Chiller Systems/ Air-conditioning / BMS / ACMV / HVAC
• Positive attitude

Our company is an international crane & deck machinery repair specialist and offers crane and deck machinery related repair services and parts supply to the Merchant Marine- and Offshore industry and you will be responsible for field service tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing deck cranes, grabs, windlasses, hatch cover hydraulics, and davits.

Qualifications:

• Min 5 years' experience sailing as Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes and has carried out troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems on board,

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Utilizing the resources to the maximum productivity to raise the profit margins without compromising quality standards.
• Coordinate and participate with the installation teams to help troubleshoot problems and resolve customer concerns while managing service and commissioning engineers.
• Hire, manage and develop resources for projects.
• Ensure that the service quality and service turnaround times are above the expectations of the client.
• Identify areas of improvement to raise the existing Service turnaround time.
• Create and maintain service reports on ERPs to safeguard client job history.
• Monitor all process information entered in ERP, POS processed, and petty cash used.
• Manage all inventories requested are available before time (international / local) so that there are no delays in completion of project.
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal audits.
• Act as a medium of communication between the Management & staffs & vice versa.
• Develop presentation & educate customers on the operations of the equipment installed.
• Checking all equipment’s, spares & documentation ahead of a job to make sure it is ready.
• Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.
• Problem-Solve and resolve daily operational challenges through consistent monitoring to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Should be able use personal protective equipment while at work.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department.

Authorities:

• Work on short & long-term plans / projects and prepare budget.
• Function as subject matter expert and recommend technical solutions for issues raised by Service Engineers / Clients.
• Recommend Salary Increment for service staff.
• Approve overtime for all service staff.
• Approving & managing leave requests of staffs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics / Automation, and instrumentation.
• Should have a minimum of 8 years & above experience in service & installations of marine products related to NAVCOM/LSA/FFA /Automation/Diving.
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications /Project manager.
• Must have strong supervisory skills & must be able to speak with the highest level of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Should have strong leadership & decision-making skills.
