We are looking for a Product Management & Supplier Relations Lead – Commodity Chemicals to join our company.

The Product Management & Supplier Relations Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the Commodity Chemicals Sales Product Group. The key responsibilities include building and nurturing strong supplier relationships, spearheading the introduction of new products and services, and streamlining internal processes to manage commodity chemical inquiries effectively. This role ensures that offerings align with market demands and customer needs. Collaborating closely with the Commercial Manager, the Lead will establish a competitive pricing structure and contribute to the overarching business strategy, promoting seamless alignment between sales, local operations, and support functions.

What you will be doing:

Supplier Relations

• Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, availability, and compliance.
• Work with Procurement to onboard new suppliers and address performance issues.

Product Management

• Research market trends and customer needs to develop and manage products.
• Introduce new products, align with customer feedback, and support business growth.
• Represent the company at events to promote products and position us as a market leader.

Operations

• Create and improve processes for handling commodity chemicals efficiently.
• Work with local teams to streamline operations and support growth.

Pricing & Training

• Develop pricing strategies to stay competitive and profitable.
• Train sales teams on product features and support customer engagement.
• Drive sales growth through campaigns and market insights.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, maritime, or a related field (Master’s/MBA is a plus).
• At least 2 years of experience in product management, sourcing, or business development within shipping, chemicals, or industrial supply sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with check-in and check-out procedures
• Ensure all residents are attended to at the Front Desk
• Issue apartment access key cards
• Attend to and anticipate all residents' queries and needs
• Provide recommendations on nearby amenities, places of interest and assist residents in making travel, tours and restaurant reservation arrangements
• Manage residents’ accounts, information and apartment availability in the system
• Perform simple bookkeeping
• Make and confirm reservations
• Assist with the onboarding process for new employees
• Respond to all queries through walk-ins, emails and calls and assist with requests
• Handle and record resident feedback and complaints, referring them to supervisors and managers
• Receive and convey messages to residents promptly
• Handle the safekeeping of cash and residents’ valuables and belongings
• Perform related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Entry level candidates who have attained a ITE or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or an equivalent qualification are welcomed to apply;

• Passion in learning a variety of tasks, including handling paperwork
• Willingness to perform shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for welcoming customers in a courteous and prompt manner and lead them to a prepared table in accordance with outlets’ seating procedures
• Attend to customers’ enquiries and/or feedback, promotion packages via phone calls and email timely, professionally and in an efficient manner and make outbound calls when needed
• Respond appropriately to enquiries / feedbacks and escalate when needed
• Answer calls, process customers’ reservations and update system accordingly
• Ensure PDPA compliance when handling personal data of customers
• Coordinate private events for large group reservations
• Provide customers with estimated waiting time
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
• Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations

Job Requirement

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin and able to communicate clearly and efficiently to our guests
• Strong customer oriented mindset with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and ability to take pressure
• Exceptional grooming habits and positive attitude with an interest in delivering excellent service quality to customers
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office / Excel) and internet savvy
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
