Job Title: Placement Manger
As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in connecting mature workers with suitable job placements. You will work closely with various industries and companies to advocate for the value of mature workers and encourage potential employers to consider hiring from our talent pool.
Department: GIG work and Micro-jobs
Reports To: GIG Lead
Stakeholders: Corporate clients, government agencies and funding organisations and mature job seekers
Job Summary:
The Placement manager is responsible to match job opportunities with mature job seekers, follow up on post placement review to address employment concerns. Provide employment coaching and give recommendation on necessary training to equip mature job seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Screening: Actively seek out and identify potential job openings that align with the skills and experience of mature workers. Conduct thorough screening processes to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for specific roles
2. Candidate Matching: Match qualified mature workers with appropriate job opportunities based on their skills, experience, and career aspirations. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the job application process.
3. Employer Engagement: Build strong relationships with employers in various sectors to promote the benefits of hiring mature workers. Educate employers about the unique skills and experiences that mature workers bring to the table.
4. Advocacy and Outreach: Represent CFS at industry events, conferences, and job fairs to raise awareness about the value of mature workers. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
5. Performance Tracking: Maintain Job seekers database, monitor and track the success of placements to measure the impact of CFS’ efforts. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategies.
6. Meet Annual Target: number of employers reached out to and new employers who come on board
Qualifications & Skills
-Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Proven experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably with a focus on mature worker placement.
-Strong understanding of labour market trends and industry dynamics.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and employers.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Passion for promoting age diversity in the workplace and a commitment to social justice.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
-Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards.
-Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
-Certification in human resources or recruitment.
