1. Job Functions:

• The areas in and around the dormitories are regularly cleaned with the necessary cleaning solvents and to apply disinfectants as often as possible.
• Assist the Duty Officer to change residents’ bedsheets and pillow covers weekly or whenever they are wet or soiled).

• To report immediately to the Duty Officer and Executive of Support Services Unit of any leakage or blockage that occur in the toilets.

• Follow the residents for outings organized by the Home or other Organizations.
• Assist the residents with the daily programs of the Home.
• Assist the Duty officer to arrange and clean the storeroom.
• Support all PERTAPIS programmes and activities as assigned by the management.

We are seeking candidates with:

· A diploma/degree in Marine & Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

· At least 10 years of experience in Engine Repair & Maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Perform the repair, maintenance, or overhaul of marine diesel engines 2 & 4 stroke.

· Comply with all the requirements to carry out the jobs in the shipyards or anchorages.

· Lifting and shifting heavy components of engine back to the workshop for repair/reconditioning and vice-versa.

· Ensure prompt response and smooth communication with the customers

· Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Operation Manager

Job Requirements:

· Relevant marine / mechanical / engineering qualification

· Rich hands-on experience in trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair is a must.

· Willing to work in a shipyard/anchorage environment

Role and Responsibilities

· Ensure that the business application systems supported by IT shared service are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency.

· Ensure that all communication is logged into Ticketing System promptly and completely.

· Manage application configuration and upgrades, and problem analysis and resolution for complex application problems, in conjunction with the users and external application and service suppliers when necessary.

· Administrator and resolve application issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.

· Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.

· Manage application projects and assist users to run their application projects, providing technical and project management input when required.

· Improve application functionality and performance and provide suggestions for system and business improvements.

· Analyse user processes and produce data and process flow diagrams as well as recommendations for improvements.

· The post holder may be required to respond to out-of-hours application support requests.

· Develop procedures and documentations for application support.

· Develop and maintain interfaces, exports and imports, and ensure their smooth running when required.

· System configuration, scripting and new user administration as required.

· Proactively manage data quality in systems.

· Analyse user processes and produce data and process flow diagrams as well as recommendations for improvements. Work with departments to design and implement more effective business processes.

· Manage interfaces, defined operational system processes and data extracts.

· Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Information Technology, or related field

3+ years’ experience in an IT Application Analyst role or related to information technology

Minimum 2-3 years of experience, in the world of retail/luxury, and point of sales management solutions (Cegid, SAP Retail, Retail Pro)

Technical knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL database and in the field of ERP is mandatory

Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

Motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
