RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Care Associate, you will assist to deliver care duties to our seniors at Senior Day Care Centre (SCC).

You will be part of an integrated care team that delivers a person-centred care model for our seniors, including persons with dementia. Ideally, this person should also be promoting seniors' independence and maintaining their cognitive and physical functions. This person will facilitate small-group activities in SCC to enable seniors to gain dignity and fulfilment.

You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the centre by carrying out the following duties:

• Support basic activities for daily living (ADLs), including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility and transfers, toileting, diaper changing, feeding

• Accountability to help define & deliver APAC service strategy for both A2A and CDS operations supporting our demand partners:
• Work closely with retail operations to ensure servicing levels are achieved and staffing / quality controls (such as vendor quality calibrations) are in place to meet APAC demand partner network requirements real-time and for future growth
• Manage and audit EPS specific agent processes, agent knowledge base and agent communication processes to ensure efficient and effective service handling

• Stakeholder Management (internal/external) – managing expectations to align with TPSP goals and initiatives to maintain / reduce costs and drive revenue:
• Reduce unnecessary EPS demand partner / commercial account management escalations through root cause analysis, workflow improvements and initiatives to increase operational efficiencies
• Maintain balance between big picture and moving individual issues to conclusion
• Establish reporting needs and business review cadence to meet stakeholder needs
• Develop and maintain formal daily / weekly communications with retail operations, EPS commercial account management, and other internal stakeholders as required, to ensure processes are being followed, reports are being maintained and actions processed
• Utilize current reporting or develop new reporting to monitor cost and revenue to ensure TPSP departmental goals are achieved
• Through analysis, work with retail operations and EPS commercial teams to minimize errors, write offs and fraud
• Where appropriate, support the EPS commercial team in external partner facing forums
• Service Enhancement & Continuous Improvement – leveraging the full suite of TPSP agent tools to drive efficiencies and effectiveness:
• Support prioritization across the EPS & TPSP product portfolio by helping gather accurate tracking and business insights to support business impact sizing

Who you are:

• 8+ years’ experience in operational B2B customer service, management consulting or corporate strategy, preferably at a travel/ecommerce company. To include 3+ years’ experience in people management
• Fluency in English and one or more of the following languages, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese

About the Centre for Applied Philanthropy (CAP)

CAP is a relatively new thought leadership and innovation hub within CFS. It seeks to support effective philanthropy through:

1. Research, Strategy and Insights Providing insights through data and research: we collect and analyse data on philanthropy and unmet needs in Singapore to understand trends, emerging issues and measure impact.

Collective Giving and Innovations in Philanthropy Collaborating with others to achieve meaningful social impact: we partner with other organisations in the philanthropic ecosystem to pool resources and expertise to achieve greater impact through collective funding programmes and community impact funds.
3. Philanthropy Advisory: Offering tailored philanthropy advisory services to meet evolving donor needs and aspirations: we co-create impactful initiatives for select donors that tackle the root causes of complex socio-economic problems.

Role Overview:

The Business Manager will be a critical member of the CAP Team, reporting directly to the Senior Director. He/she will work across all CAP projects, as an overall project manager, to co-design, organize, support, guide and review various inside-of-CAP processes (business processes improvement, knowledge management, project management), as well as liaise with other CFS teams, such as Business Operations/Finance and Tech, to ensure effective and efficient administrative, project, reporting and grantmaking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of CAP, including scheduling and coordination and minute-taking, where necessary.
• Develop, implement and review policies and business processes based on industry best practices, to ensure effective and efficient functioning of CAP. This includes enabling grant-making for CAP projects and IT systems usage (eg NetSuite).
• Be the CAP representative for any systems-related migrations/upgrade/change

Project Management

• Maintain working knowledge of and support all CAP programmes and priority funding areas (Collectives, Collective Impact Funds, Bespoke Philanthropic Projects in areas of social and sustainability needs) by assisting in strategies, workplans and progress tracking.

Grant Management

• Work with various teams to monitor CAP grants for legal, financial, and programme compliance.

• Ensure all CAP team members are aware and knowledgeable of grants management processes and technology to the degree their functions require.
• Problem-solve complex grant scenarios; consult/liaise with finance and/or legal counsel.

Research, Strategy and Analysis

• As with all other members of CAP, the Business Manager will also remain abreast of current research, activities, best practices, innovation and trends in the philanthropic sector and Singapore’s Non-Profit sector, to provide informed inputs on the CAP’s activities and recommendations and support when needed.

Financial and Programme Evaluation

• Support senior team members to develop and manage the budget for CAP, ensuring financial sustainability.
• Design and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing achievements and impact.

Communications, Collaboration and Networking

• Build and maintain effective relationships, via formal and informal networking opportunities, with internal teams and external organisations such as academic institutions, key players, donors, partners, and the wider community for the purpose of collaborative opportunities and creating impact through philanthropy.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Project/Programme management experience (with grantmaking being a distinct advantage).
• Knowledge and/or high comfort level to understand IT/CRM systems (such as NetSuite and Submittable), basic data analysis skills and familiarity with business process management.
• Strategic thinker with a process and system mindset.
• Domain knowledge in non-profit landscape such as social issues and/or sustainability/environment will be a definite advantage.
• A high level of organisational capability, attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving, can-do attitude.
