We are seeking a full time veterinary receptionist to join our team of 14. We are a busy small animal veterinary clinic known for our exceptional customer service.
Requirements

Willingness to learn, improvise, think on your feet and problem solve.
Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to handle Mandarin speaking clients a bonus
Good organizational skills
Team player, ability to work closely intra and inter departments.
Ability to multitask.
Computer literate.
Previous experience in customer service or client facing positions preferred.
Training will be provided, there will eventually be a need to spell and understand commonly used terminology in veterinary medicine, as well as triage appointments.
5 day or 44h work week with Sundays and Public Holidays off. Ability to work Saturdays and 2 week day evenings.
Responsibilities
You will be the face, and the first point of contact of our veterinary care team, setting the tone for the client's overall experience, as well as ensuring clients and their pets receive the exceptional service that we are proud of.
As part of our team, you will handle initial telephone calls, queries or emails from clients, arrange appointments, welcome them to the clinic, ensure they are seen quickly and efficiently, and manage waiting times on very busy days.
You will also manage the completion of client paperwork, take payments, maintain records and perform other administration and cleaning tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
Last, you should possess the diplomatic skills needed to diffuse negative client situations and foster client bonding.
