• Assist with providing technical advice to Sales and Operation Personnel on their waste management enquiry which includes safe waste handling procedure and costing breakdown.
• Work closely with sales and operation department to establish a cost-effective treatment/recovery method for incoming/customer waste.
• Providing advice and co-ordination work in technical-driven waste management.
• Improve existing and develop new treatment methods.
• Support of segregation of incoming waste and assign the waste to correct department, ensure the waste are being treated properly and safely
• Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory and area of work.
• Follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures.
• Update the relevant records and effectively communicate to relevant departments and people.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Environmental engineering or similar trades
• Minimum of 1- 2 years of chemical related industry
• Laboratory experience is an added advantage
• Able to work in outdoor environment due to nature of work in operation plants
• Good analytical abilities and communication skills
