This individual will play a crucial role in delivering critical business-driven projects and initiatives for the ESG governance team. A strong understanding of financial instruments, portfolio construction, trade lifecycle, and ESG business is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for business users, including Portfolio Managers, Traders, etc.
• Collaborate effectively within a global team and contribute to team success.
• Take ownership of IT-related issues handled by the team and ensure timely resolution.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Apply a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Manage incidents, major incidents, problem resolution, and change management processes.
• Work with stakeholders and development teams to define and document requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Assist in project oversight by managing JIRA stories and ensuring updates are made as needed.
• Utilize advanced database/SQL skills, including the ability to write stored procedures; Snowflake exposure is a plus.
• Perform data analysis and manipulation using Excel and/or VBA.
• Leverage hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX, and write scripts in Perl, Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Demonstrate understanding of the equity/derivatives/FX trade lifecycle, electronic trading, FIX protocol, and accounting practices.
• Manage batch job scheduling using tools such as Autosys.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with complex systems connected to multiple upstream and downstream systems.
• Proficiency with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Boxi, Tableau, Power Platform, and analytics tools like Dataiku.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and setting up alerts.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7-12 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on front-office applications and electronic trading.
