Successful applicants for this position will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary project that aims to dramatically rethink how people and AI systems will work together in the future. To do this, the project seeks to build a strong scientific foundation for how AI can augment (as opposed to replace) humans.

An important goal of the project is to develop a rich ontology of activities that can be performed by human-AI teams. Like categorizing the plants and animals on a little-explored continent, the work will involve cataloging many (a) activities and (b) possible human-computer processes for performing these activities.

To do this, we will develop knowledge graphs that include (1) descriptions of many different types of activities and processes, and (2) classifications of these descriptions into multi-dimensional taxonomies that range from very general types of activities to very specific ones.

These knowledge graphs will then be used to automatically generate promising ways of combining humans and AI systems to perform different tasks. In the long run, we believe these tools will help rapidly (a) identify use cases for new AI capabilities, (b) specify effective processes and task allocations to humans and computers in a given situation, and (c) identify innovative ways to combine people and AI to solve business and societal problems.

HELPDESK SUPPORT ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITY

• Monitor and observe system alerts or out of the normal system behaviours.

• Follow incident isolation procedure to identify and verify faults before applying problem resolution scripts to fix the issue or escalation.

• Perform consolidation of records for reporting for monitoring, analytics or audit purposes.

• Perform post change system health checks to verify that the changes didn't caused undesirable behaviours.

• Manage the life cycle of incident tickets from creation, update, escalation to closure.

• Review and verify the accuracy of operational scripts. Suggests areas of improvements.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Possess a Nitec, Diploma or Degree preferably in Engineering or Information Technology.

• Work in teams of 12 hours rotation shifts that spans across weekends and public holidays.

• Able to follow documented work instructions and procedures.

Responsibities

• Assist in setting up the vessel maintenance system for new addition vessels to the fleet and existing vessels.
• Help to update the vessels maintenance system within the fleet vessels.
• Assist to complete for Request for change (RFC) from vessels an office in time.
• Check/find correct info in Maker's Drawing/ Manual of specific equipment if needed to update/ admend in the system.
• Assist and support the organization to succeed with our maintenance strategy.

Requirement:

• Experience working with vessel maintenance system.
