IT Support Technician

The Level 1 IT Support Technician is responsible for accepting, documenting, and resolving basic technical issues with users to ensure the proper functioning of the company's IT systems and equipment. This position primarily handles junior issues and basic technical support, with escalation to Level 2 or Level 3 support if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Support:

• Technical support is available via phone, email, or live chat.
• Solve basic problems about hardware, software and network.
• Provides password reset, account unlocking, and other user account management support.

2. Device Setup & Configuration:

• Help set up and configure your employees' workstations, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Provide initial equipment setup and guidance for new employees.

3. Basic Problem Solving:

• Perform basic troubleshooting, such as connection issues, system errors, and more.
• Instruct users through basic technical operations.

4. Escalation Issues:

• Escalate more complex issues to a Level 2 or higher support team.

5. Documentation & Training:

• Updated Technical Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and User Guides.
• Assist users in understanding the steps to solve basic technical problems.

Job Request:

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft related credentials, are a plus.

Skill Requirements:

The Artability Trainer is responsible for planning, delivering, and managing visual art training services under the Artability program. This role involves conducting engaging visual art training sessions for students across all three Rainbow Centre SPED schools, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for meaningful artistic expression. The Trainer will employ innovative teaching methods tailored to diverse learning needs, ensuring effective lesson delivery.

Additionally, the Artability Trainer will manage projects that provide students with valuable learning opportunities, including art exhibitions, roadshows, galleries, and workshops. Collaboration with school teams, caregivers, and other Rainbow Centre units, such as the Advocacy and Community Engagement (ACE) team, is essential for promoting student artworks for advocacy purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Delivery of Visual Art Training

• Conduct Pre-Admission Assessments: Assess students' strengths, interests, and potential barriers to participation in visual art training services under Artability.
• Build Rapport with Students: Establish trusting relationships with students to understand their unique aspirations and life experiences, recognizing how these factors influence their artistic development.
• Formulate Person-Centric Training Plans: Develop individualized training plans that address each student’s specific support and learning needs, focusing on nurturing their talents and fostering a distinctive artistic style

Student Engagement and Support

• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing their unique needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to integrate visual art into students' overall development plans.

Project Management

• Organize and manage art-related projects, including exhibitions, workshops, and community events, to provide students with real-world exposure.
• Coordinate logistics for art shows, including venue selection, setup, and promotion of student artworks.

Collaboration and Advocacy

• Work closely with the Advocacy and Community Engagement (ACE) team to showcase student artworks and promote awareness of their capabilities.
• Participate in community outreach efforts to highlight the impact of art education for students with special needs.

Key requirements:

• Degree holder minimum or a good Diploma in Education, Special Education, Design and/or Art
• Candidates without formal training in art but with portfolios of visual art are also welcomed.
• Prior experience working with persons with special needs a plus but not mandatory
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and design softwares
• Strong understanding of commercialization of art and the art industry
