Senior Customer Service Specialist (1-year contract - renewable)

Job descriptions:

• Handle full set of I/E, LC, and banking documents.
• Prepare an accurate full range of shipping documents including Invoice, Packing List, Certification of Origin, Wood Declaration, Marine Insurance, Form 6, Form 9, Annex 7, etc promptly.
• Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, customers, and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery.
• Liaise directly with shipping lines for draft BL, BL amendment, and master BL security printing.
• Calculating pricing for hedge contracts to ensure correct pricing is invoiced
• Checking all documents to ensure adherence to the Sales terms, L/C terms, and customer requirements
• Follow up on deposit/LC issuance to ensure required payment is received before shipment.
• Ensure that the title of goods is only transferred upon necessary based on payment terms.
• Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to
• inquiries, concerns, and requests about documentation and operational matters in a timely and accurate manner and providing excellent customer services
• Collaborating with other teams, such as traders and fixation, to ensure that customer needs are met and that any issues are resolved promptly
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the team leader

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Higher Nitec with 2 years experience in a logistic-related role
• Relevant certification is required as well as formal logistics or equivalent educational background preferred.
• Shipping experience in LC, export Shipping Documentation containerized shipments, and/or incoterms preferred
• Outstanding verbal communication skills on an individual and group basis
• Possess a strong customer-centric personality and mindset.
• Highly organized and proactive individual who has a keen eye for detail coupled with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

The Service Delivery Leader will support the network infrastructure across 12 different markets in the APAC region. He/She is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of network services to internal bank customers. This role acts as the primary liaison between the network engineering/operations teams and the commercial/procurement functions to ensure seamless service delivery, vendor management, and lifecycle management of network assets. You will lead a high-performing team to execute the strategy, manage financial and commercial aspects, and handle procurement of network circuits, pipes, switches, and other essential components.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years++ of experience in service delivery, or commercial/procurement roles, preferably within the financial services or banking sector. A strong understanding of network technologies, vendor management, procurement processes, and financial management is essential.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy

• Lead and inspire a team of network infrastructure professionals across the APAC region.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with our business and IT goals.
• Collaborate with senior IT leaders to ensure our network infrastructure supports business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Service Delivery Management

• Manage the lifecycle of network components, from planning to decommissioning.

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a network support, service delivery, or commercial/procurement role, preferably in a financial services or banking environment

• Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations and vendor billing
