YOUR FUTURE ROLE
We are looking for a Government Partner Customer (GPC) Escalation Coordination Expert (f/m/d) for APJ region to join our global team. This position is part of the new GPC Office within the Sovereign Services & Delivery (SS&D) organization that combines all Sovereign Cloud deliveries at SAP.

Your responsibilities include:

• Build up and manage a streamlined escalation process on sovereignty driven escalations in for APJ

Position Objectives:

The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) seeks a dynamic and motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to support the regional management of WCS’s SEAP program. This is a rapidly evolving and growing program with a diverse and expanding portfolio of donors, partners and projects. The region presents a set of complex conservation challenges to biodiversity and their habitats and WCS field programs are addressing these through a number of initiatives including protected area management, community engagement, sustainable livelihoods, policy reform and sustainable financing.

Job Summary:

The Regional Program Manager (RPM) will directly support the SEAP Regional Director and work in close coordination with the Regional Business Manager and Grants Manager, and field program leadership. The primary objective of the RPM position is to ensure central coordination support to the regional and country programs in grant proposal, management and report development, donor compliance, knowledge management, implementation tracking and internal communications. Specific Tasks & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Support the SEAP Regional Director and team in building collaborative relationships as a focal point for SEAP programs with the wider WCS Global team

• Work with the SEAP Regional Director and the central Global Resources and Grants, Management & Compliance team to review and implement funding strategies to meet agreed funding objectives and targets, and ensure sound grant management and compliance.

• Communicating regional program priorities and interests to the global program and partner departments; ensuring coordination, management, and support to the region.

• Provide effective coordination and operational support to the SEAP Director and regional team to successfully manage a growing portfolio of grants, related processes, and workflows.

• Conduct research and analysis of suitable mix of conservation donors to increase understanding of the donor environment in the SEAP Region as well as long-term perspectives and preferences.

Program Development and Management

• Support field teams, as needed, with the development of funding project workplans

• Oversee a Monitoring, Evaluation, Adaptation and Learning (MEAL) approach to support program implementation

• Provide support to various WCS departments (HR, Safety and Security, etc.) to ensure alignment of and communication of policies and procedures across the region

• Assist HR teams in the development of Terms of References, contract review and with selection and onboarding of new staff to the program where needed

• Support Regional Business and Procurement Managers in the development and review of contracts where needed

Proposal Development, Reporting & Grants Management

• Under the guidance of the Regional Director, and in coordination with the Regional Business and Grants Managers and Country program teams, support proposal preparation and donor reporting.

• Work closely with the Regional Grants Manager to ensure the monitoring of grants for compliance with WCS’s policies and procedures as well as donor / government / external rules and regulations.

• Liaise with the Regional Business and Grants Managers in process mapping and assist with improvement of standard procedures and control of workflows.

• Under the guidance of the Regional Director, and in coordination with the Regional Business Manager, support and coordinate high level project monitoring and host regular meetings with Program, Project, Management, Evaluation, Adaptation and Learning (MEAL), and the Regional Management teams to ensure performance on individual grants is tracked effectively, risks and issues are flagged and corrective action taken as appropriate.

• Ensure knowledge management by maintaining good project documentation and archiving.

• A Bachelors or Master's degree in a related field (international relations, development, social or natural sciences or similar), or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8+ years professional experience.

· Proven successful grants management skills, ideally with EU, US and/or other bilateral donors, including proposal and report writing, but also workflow management and compliance.

• Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality outputs sometimes within short deadlines.
• Experience working, coordinating and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including partner NGOs.

• Pitch initiatives to corporates, specifically in positioning and securing business projects for our respective MSc programmes
• Scope the business projects with the company, establish an understanding of the objectives, guidelines for workload, deliverables, resources and financial support
• Solicit for feedback on our students’ performances to make recommendations for improvements on projects and associated activities
• Feature success stories prominently in our marketing collaterals and channels such as brochures, websites and e-blasts to encourage more participation from different corporate partners
• Cultivate a sustainable longer-term relationship with corporate partners for further collaborations such as corporate marketing, company visits, recruitment of graduates and sponsorship for various MSc programmes initiatives

Administration of Management Practicum

• Collate a list of business projects, disseminate to our respective MSc students for enrolment, and where needed, conduct interviews for the allocation of projects
• Conduct briefings to students who are undertaking business projects
• Coordinate coaching workshops/classes to prepare students for their undertaking of business projects
• Work with Heads of Departments in appointing project supervisors, including briefing faculty advisors on the role, responsibilities and scope of projects
• Facilitate the first meeting for companies to meet with student groups, where timelines, milestone achievements and deliverables are set and arrange initial face-to-face / Skype sessions with companies
• Obtain the necessary approvals from the academic departments and the MSc Programmes Office
• Monitor and ensure that the students make good progress in completing their business projects and where needed, to help guide and mentor students on their projects, providing feedback as part of evaluation as a consistent moderating party across projects
• Work with corporate partners constantly to ensure that the students get information and meetings at the right time so they can complete the projects on time
• Collate the grading reports for the Experiential Learning module, and get company approval for case-release, if appropriate
• Work with relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate grade entry for the students for their Experiential Learning module
• Systematically collect feedback and evaluation from corporate partners, students, supervisors and develop actions for improvements

Development of System and Process

• Develop, implement and update systematic procedures and processes for MSc Programmes’ Experiential Learning components
• Develop and administer guidelines for the students, supervisors and corporates
• Procure and conceptualize promotional materials to aid in pitching our various initiatives to the corporates such as brochures and e-blasts
• Liaise with the Office of Legal Affairs on the necessary documentation (Company case release form, Non-Disclosure Form etc) and administer guidelines for students, faculty advisors and corporates

Other Responsibilities

• Collaborate and synergize between key stakeholders, not limited to students, faculty advisors, corporates and other key departments in NUS Business School, providing support and fostering rapport where possible
• Benchmarking of how business projects are sourced and facilitated in leading business schools to ensure best practices
• Work with the BIZCareers Office on internships/career opportunities arising from Corporate, business projects/Experiential Learning engagements
• Identify further experiential opportunities for the MSc programmes
• Other duties as assigned by Academic Directors, MSc Director and Programme Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a reputable institution, with at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience ideally in academic programmes in tertiary institutions
• Experience in facilitating industry partnerships and dealing with senior management would be an advantage
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• Experienced, confident and effective working in cross-cultural settings
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and a keen appreciation of good documentation
• Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and deadlines well, and with a high degree of accuracy
• Team player with a good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient
• IT savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
