Job Description

1. Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team, coordinate with client's, consultants and sub-contractors on M&E matters to ensure the works carried out meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Manage and lead M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes.
3. Manage the M&E consultants and M&E SU-contractors to meet project program, design deliverables, and Authority submission and timely approval.
4. Review & verify consultants design drawings, counter propose alternative design and feasibility of construction.
5. Review and value-add to the designs/specifications/drawings submitted by consultants.
6. Ensure the M&E designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations.
7. Coordinate with architectural team and structural team to ensure the final design is in-line with architect’s design intents and client’s requirements.
8. Liaise with BIM Manager on the BIM presentations, clash reports, ICE meeting schedules and requirements.
9. Assist and supervise the preparation of M&E coordination and shop drawings for the project to be used on site for construction.
10. Oversee M&E works, conduct inspections on site, monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to construction team.
11. Resolve site issues related to design or changes required by Construction team, to ensure no delay affecting main program.
12. Issuance of RFI & Site-Design Amendments
13. Ensure timely completion and good quality of works
14. Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as may be assigned

Job Requirements

1. Degree holder in M&E, Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordinator or equivalent
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as M&E manager role. With experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skill.
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
5. Skill in Autocad & Revit

Role Purpose

To frame the business case and lead the implementation of satellite operations for MODEC EPCI business

conducted by the Project Execution Business Function ("PE"). The operationalisation is expected to be made

under the remit of and will affect two Singaporean legal entities of the PE, Modec Offshore Production Systems

(Singapore) Pte Ltd ("MOPS") and its Joint Venture company Offshore Frontier Solutions Pte Ltd ("OFS"),

respectively. The position reports into the VP, Commercal of MODEC PE and is based in Singapore.

Key Accountabilities

Initiative Framing:-

Consult with relevant stakeholders, establish organisational diagnosis of PE (MOPS and OFS and overseas support). Quantify ineffeciencies & pain points. Provide strategic recommendation for satellite office structure or alternative models.

Governance Complying:-

Develop detailed business plan for the recommended strategy and required investments with the purpose of providing guidance for and support to well-informed decision making from the relevant Boards.

Collaboration:-

Collaborate with colleagues across functional disciplines in order to foster effective professional working relationships across the business, garner support and buy-in from relevant stakeholders.

Operationalisation:-

Lead the full operationalisation of the business plan in accordance with agreed timeline and with minimization of disruptions to the business. In-coutry set-ups (offices/branches/subsidiaries/partnerships etc.) to be coordinated with Corporate Legal.

Reporting / Feedback loop / Communication:-

Ensure visibility and transparency in progress reporting and any mitigation actions required, from the set-up and incorporation of the necessary structures, until the rollout of the new organizational model across PE.
